I’m relatively new to Genshin, and when a friend of mine asked to come to my world to co-op, I agreed.
She killed the boss I’d been saving up for / working to beat for days in under 15 seconds.

Unfortunately, I didn't realize that the pity from one event banner would carry over to the next one, and ended up buying a number of aquaint fates...

The most special one here is the new player, mesmerized by the beauty of the open world and couldn't wait what would happen next in the lore is the happiness of every old genshin player, nostalgia hits hard, that's why Mondstadt feels like home... although I admit that most of us didn't knew the mechanics of resin back when we first started we had plenty of fun traveling here and there.
I'm definitely the photographer who gets my co op friend in trouble by telling her we need to do boss stuffs, but I end up taking shots of our suffering instead.
You forgot "the helper" where they keep going on another world to help those who are in need.

@@thatonechristianweeb4050 Not really. That happens to me on rare occasions where someone comes in just to ask for help. However, when I'm in a middle of helping someone in their world, they will be asking me how to finish a certain quest. I, for one, do not really remember everything I do in Genshin so I'll quickly search it for them and tell them to follow me.
It's a hard work I barely get any credits on but as long as it passes time then I don't really mind.

When the materials were revealed I started farming for those,
I was guaranteed so I knew I would get her
Played everyday to get things for her
Got her, ascended her, played a little, didn't touch the game for months after that.

That's AR 16-35 me except i actually farmed (with my higher AR friend) but that result me having my character prepared and able to speedrun many opponents without struggling (already learned how to build characters on ar 30+ and got obsessed with farming the level 69 domains spending probably more than 30 fragile resins, even my exp reached 160k/7k lmao and got another ascension quest right after i ascended) ALSO makes me regret spending those fragile resin and maxing 3 star artifacts damn
i don't know if i should regret it or be glad
Shout out to those who also started in 1.1 when you still needed resin for events and used all your fragile resin to get Fischl in the 2 days right before Unreconciled Stars was about to end ✌️

bad thing was i also didnt know what resin was and converted 50 primos to resin, i still havent recovered from that
@@ICNHH Yeah, I only converted primogems to resin just one time due to needing to get artifacts. I say only use primos if you're planning on skipping a banner.
But yeah, on accident, it sucks. XD

So I think I enjoy the game.
At this point genshin isn't an adventure story mode action game but a competition on who builds the best character and an online casino

I'm a hardcore casual. I do my dailies, spend my resin, and played every single day. My characters are well-built. I just never 36-starred abyss, always stuck on 33 because I'm too lazy to use any tactics.

As a hardcore player, i just end up not wanting to 36 Star it. I just try a few times and if i do it, i do it, but if it starts getting annoying i just go with 33 lol
I rarely play abyss lol.
you don't need tactic if your character is well built
Nobody told me this when I started playing but it has been helpful. DO NOT USE ALL YOUR FRAGILE RESIN ALL AT ONCE. Use it only for character ascension stuff like bosses. Saves you days of resin honestly. Use your daily resin for artifacts, weapon and talent level up mats. I'm AR 56 and I have 40+ fragile resin.
I don’t have to worry about this cause im AR26 and don’t do bosses :)
Save your fragiles for ar45 then do a big domain run. Prior to that, only use daily resin on bosses and ley lines, you will have tons of resources, mora and wanderer/glad artifacts which are perfectly useable until you reach ar45.

I'm relatively new to this game and the more I play it the more I have a love/hate relationship with it lol. It's a stunning game without a doubt, but it burns you out very easily. The dialogues are insanely long and draining and there's way too much variables to take care of to build the characters that it becomes overwhelming. If the dialogues weren't as intense and the farming/character development was a little bit more simple the gaming experience would feel more light and fun.

when i started playing i actually use 2 fragile resins and didnt even use it to fam exp.
When I was a new player (pretty much everyone was) there was the stars event with Mona and we needed resins to participate, so me being the clueless new player I had no idea what fragile resins were and used all what I had, it got me about 1200 or 2200 resins idk so I ended up playing and playing the event not having any trouble, and when people on twt were complaining about how there wasn’t enough resins to do the event and farm materials (only 120 resins limit) I had no idea what they were talking about, it was going all fine to me 🤡 so yeah. From that experience I learnt not to spend such stuff in new games until I know what I’m spending them for 🤡
I really still can't understand these things.
For example, I've always used all brittle resins, but I've never had any problems with missing something or something else. I only found out that this was wrong because I saw a video saying not to do it. 🤡 (Sorry if I wrote something wrong, English is not my native language.)
@@laloo_0o it’s about saving them when you actually need them for bosses or talents domains or leylines when you’re out of daily resins. You don’t HAVE to save them but spending them on artifacts or events is useless cause artifacts are about luck and events, well they don’t require resins anymore thankfully lol. So Yah it’s not a big deal but kinda a waste to not save them when you actually need them you know?
When im out of resin, i'd just go to sleep and leave the game running or i would just wander around and do a miniscule amount of tomfoolery

>Grind artifacts (only using daily resin)
>Finish commissions (4/4)

Activating story quests and not doing them is a bad idea, since they'll start randomly whenever you walk into the right area, even if you're in the middle if a different quest.

@@alexprus7953 yeah I know now, but this all started cuz I already had an AR 50 something account in the wrong server and since it was laggy I wanted to create a new account in the server I'm supposed to be in, I figured that since I already finished them all on the other account that I might as well unlock them all since the max keys are 3 and I didn't want to waste any, but I didn't feel like doing them cuz I already did them so it would take a long time to do it and I don't have that much time to even play so e
At one point I had so many world quests and story quests I was like eff it this is unbearable - so I just speedran my way through all of them. Now my quests menu is empty aside from commissions, all quests done in all regions except those stupid commission-locked ones!!

and then theres that ONE person who just does coop for life, coop and steals materials, coop just to make a friend, or coop to one shot all the newbies bosses and make them annoyed 😭

despite how I hate your last statement... The game starting to get to the point where late game players don't really have much content to play except for the spiral abyss, which took 2 weeks to update...
and it's starting demotivating me to play the game
@@BenziLZK take a break. I always take a break once for a while. Just play again if new regions or story got updated. I haven't got any interest in pulling, so I don't really care if I'm missing one or two weeks worth of primos anymore. And the game seems more bearable this way. No rush, no obligation to play, just have fun and immerse in the stories and the world.

I started doing this thing where I join random worlds and my first words after I help them are "can I sing a song? " then causally leave
as both a perfectionist (who 500+ achievements, a bunch of friendship namecards and 36* abyss) and a farmer (the amount has to end with either 0 or 5).... worst combination right there
we are in the digital age where displayed numbers can be very large but you still can only have a maximum of 99 adeptal energy and not 100 which upsets me very much.
I am the photographer I just love doing it too much when I’m bored.. sometimes I’m even the casual or the chest farmer or smth 😀

At first, I just wanted to finish all the Story quest, so I didn't beat bosses, used resin, cared for weapon or artifacts and didn't wish(because I forgot that I had that option and didn't know the use of so many buttoms) , only commissions and quests. Now I'm a farmer and I wander in Liyue searching for oculus and hunt treasure hoarders to level up my characters that are lvl 50/60

I'm a mix of casual, miner and no resin gang; once I finish up commissions, I mine in both Mondstadt and Liyue, then use up my resin in either bosses, domains or leylines. Then, I quit to wait for my resin to top up.

Im casual on weekdays (Log in, Do commissions, Claim Expeditions, Burn Resin, Log our)
And semi hardcore on weekends (Do those things above+ Story Quest/Hangouts/ World Quest, Collect items I need for my charas and weaps, design teapot, join random worlds, and log out)
What i did is go to the snowy mountain map trying to finish a quest fighting lvl 30 enemies while my party is at lvl 15 max
I am the photographer
I will literally record my character attacks, watch them frame by frame until I find a pose I like and then spend hours trying to get a picture in that pose
that KIRITO one is accurate af, i see a lot of low ar players in coop with that nick

log in everyday, do dailies, do quests, use available resin for the day on domains - have just finished Ayaka, and currently gathering artifacts for my Xiangling.

Whenever I ran out of resin, I just go switch to other server.
I'm pretty much in every category. Literally I done every thing in the video. Not so much hardcore these days - daily comission, use resin & farm ore.

hahaha kirito… when i was new, i dont know what fragile resins are for and I began as a casual player going about the daily quest and opening new areas in the map without completing the archon quests (i was like that for about 3 months)… i kinda hand hundreds of it when I learned later on which of course was beneficial. lol
i seriously began playing (and spending) when I caught COVID. so while on quarantine I read on and watched some vids on developing characters. The rest is history. I got hooked to it until now (2 years of playing).
Seeing that amazing arrow from aloy hit the hilichurl only doing 33 damage hurts my sould

I'm a casual player until ar45 and was about to grind my characters when I found out the existence and use of fragile resin. So I grinded for like 2 weeks and started become hardcore. But now it's nothingness...

I just explore around looking for secrets n talking to every single person I see. I even remember their names n problems. They say Im a psycho nice to meet ya😂

Here's one tip for materials
What every you get on way just pick it up
You never know what you need in future
It's better to be prepared then going on spot for a material on some quest
Finally I know that I'm the farmer/becoming-hardcore/photographer/miner, and possibly, becoming the pefectionist in a future
Just reduced to mining "oh diluc how we miss the good old days "
