Recently got into this whole watch mystery box thing. Just wanted to ask what kind of batteries you use inside? AG batteries or the real branded ones? So far im using AG since theyre a lot cheaper.
Also i got some nice seiko and citizen watches and theyre not working with a new battery even though they look brand new.... kind of discouraging.
@@robthewiseguy4919 I usually use ag for anything under $100. Swiss batteries for anything over $100.
As for the watches not working. Best guess is the old batteries leaked and ruined them. Unfortunately this is common

I watch all your videos and they're great! My only complaint is your mic is soooooo quiet I have to turn my volume on to max and sometimes it's still quiet.

What is the difference between a watch that is "fully wound" and one that is just broken or not working? I know you answered a question below on what fully wound means, but I still think I don't understand. Thank you!
Not working generally means something inside is broken like a pivot or balance wheel. Fully wound means the spring in the mainspring is fully wound and can’t be any more wound.
Girard Perregraux is swiss luxury brand. Kind of pricey 😊

Generally fix the easier ones and sell the hard ones. Unfortunately I don’t have the time to fix them all

When you say "fully wound" does that mean it's a lost cause?
Usually that means that something in the movement is backed up or it needs a new mainspring
Yes usually something is broken inside, or it needs a service
