Easy Cake Topper Tutorial // Using Phonto App // For Cricut Design Space

- Here is a tutorial of how I made this cake topper using the Phonto App on my iPad to create an offset on the letters. An offset is the outer layer of a font that creates an edge to change the look on the font. I then uploaded the font to Cricut Design Space and did som contouring, slicing, welding and more to create this cake topper. Hope this tutorial is helpful and if you have any questions please let me know in the comments. Thanks 😊
💜Materials for the topper:
-double sided glue dot tape
-65 lbs card stock for the backing
-textured card stock for the pink girl and blue boy
-glitter card stock for the gold letters and hearts
-double sided foam tape (mounting tape) to make the letters pop up
-paper straw to hold the topper on the cake
-glue gun to glue the straw

Awesome! Just saved the day!!! Thank you!
This won’t be necessary anymore with the new feature that Cricut added. But I’m glad I was able to help 🤗
Thank u so much.
I just watched your video just so that i can listen to your voice 😘
🤣😂🤣 don’t forget to give it a thumbs up too 😘
What did you use material wise? Regular blade as well? Where did you get the material from also? Thank you!
Natassja Burton materials are listed in the description. 65 lbs cardstock and glitter cardstock from Michael’s. Mounting tape from the 99c store. Yes regular fine point blade just change settings for the different type of paper. 😊
Hi, is this app only for mobile phones? It looks like you are using a desktop computer though? I cant find a PC version. Thank you
Yes it’s a mobile app. I am actually using my iPad. You could do the offset on the phone and save a photo and email it to yourself to open it on the desktop to upload on Cricut Design Space if that’s easier for you. It was a simple topper so I just finished it on my iPad. Hope it helps! Otherwise ask questions 😊
Hi, what font is this?
aiesha felo this one is Mission Script. It’s the orange one that comes up when I scroll through the fonts
Thank you , I will try this one day as I just got my maker and everything is overwhelming 😬.
I know how you feel. But take your time don’t stress over it and I’m here to help😊
Dany's Paper Crafts Thank you so much x
Can you do a video where you put it together please
I accidentally deleted that part. But I used Tombow dotted double sided tape and foam stickies from the dollar tree/99c store to make it pop up and a paper straw for the stick. I’ll post another video but I hope this helps for now 🤗
