This particular circus was NOT mistreating their animals. Abused animals won't perform, they'll attack. If you REALLY care about the animals, you'll do something about PETA. They kill over 90% of the animals they "rescue"
Am I the only one who feels something was lacking by the time Ringling closed? There was a particular majesty about this circus that I feel they lost. Can't quite put my finger on it, but I'm sure this company should still be touring.

Thank you PETA for ending those sweet animals suffering. They got whipped, beaten and abused during trainings. Why do you think they were banned from using animals? Because PETA was able to prove the abuse with videos. If you go to PETA's website you can watch the videos yourself.
This looks like an amazing show, but I think you have to actually be there to experience it.. This video really does nothing for it. It's to far away and the lighting blinds everything out. It really needs a professional cameraman to zoom in on some action, and all that blinding white light needs toning down.

The high wire troupe now perform in a English circus called Circus Extreme. I’ve had the pleasure of training with them a few times . Age 14

During the national anthem, a horse instead of an elephant was walking around the arena.
So glad they were forced to close,animal abuse has no place in society

why did the circus end
They we're in a legal battle with PETA and low attendance.
City’s banned the use of elephants and so not many people turned up
because joyless bastards who never knew true happiness killed it
