It would be better to compare the A1A1 L/44 (120mm) to the 1A5 (105mm) since they're the same BR (9.0, whereas the regilar A1A1 is 8.7 because it doesnt have thermals) and it depends, I believe the L44 reloads slower but the post pen damage of the 120mm is good. I could be wrong but the L/44 also penetrates angles better but it's very minimal difference and the Leo 1A5 with DM33 should pen better only at flat angles. But do note I don't have the Leo L/44 nor the 1A5 this is just my experience from playing the A1A1 and Leo 2s.

According to my observation, this vehicle is rather something in between MBT and old samples. I do not recommend it for beginners, as well as for aggressive gameplay - 6/10
