You have some very cute makes. I enjoyed watching your makes. Most of your makes can be worn on several occasions. You know their nice when they don't look like they were hand sewn.🎉🎉🎉🎉
LOVE this style of video. I think it’s so neat that you were able to add picture clips of your outfits and accessories. So cool! I like that you critique your outfits after wearing them. I loved your accessories, shoes and handbags.
They are all beautiful tops and look so nice on you! Hard to pick a favorite. You are so right about the ironing as a disincentive to wearing woven tops - mine usually get worn for a day or two, washed and put aside to be ironed and never worn again that year...
thanks for watching! don't worry--i'm not getting rid of it. i was just trying to make the point if i had to downsize for a move or something and needed to make difficult choices.
Love all of the outfits!, especially the top you are wearing! I have a bit of a funny about the pronunciation of Willamette, as I'm from the PNW. The easiest way to remember (and explain) is that "Willamette" rhymes with "damn iit." We do keep it weird out here!
Great video of all your outfits. My favorites are the Estella and matching skirt. The skirt is adorable and so flattering on you. Love the fabric you chose for the Lander pants. I have come close to purchasing the Lander Pants pattern so many times and after seeing yours think I will. Thank you for sharing all of your makes and the way you have styled them. Very inspiring video.
I absolutely love your first outfit. The green looks so good on you and it really goes so well with your skirt. The other outfit I loved is your matching set that you made from the dress. I agree, it looks better on you as a skirt and top. So modern and on trend. I appreciate your editing skills in this video. I really like how you showed each piece on its own as you did the voice over before modeling. Having the pieces on the screen really allows for the viewer to take it all in. Nice job, Sarah. ❤
I do like the colorful diamond skirt, top set! Also another skirt that might be first 2go seemed 2 have the perfect knee kength 4 U! Thx 4 sharing. Ciao
i'm not the biggest fan of knee length skirts because they don't really look good unless i wear heels. but having one or two in my closet isn't the worst thing in the world. thanks for sharing your thoughts!
What great outfits! I actually love the denim dress with that white top. I thought that was maybe my favorite outfit. You looked so cute, stylish but comfortable. For the diamond rayon skirt, I wonder if you could pair it with a simple fitted t-shirt and some sandals. That contrast with the dressier skirt might be nice. Thanks for another great video!
thanks Melanie! i've tried that look with the fitted tee and there's something about it i don't like. i can't put my finger on it but i will keep trying.
Cool to see how others wear their handmade wardrobe. Thanks for posting this. The bib overall dress issue I see is the bib is worn too high. Lower the straps 1-2 inches and the gape in the bib will be gone. It will also look more flattering on you. The diamond patterned skirt can be worn with a wide range of coordinating solid colored tops. I think that this will give it more life. The jeans in the last clip are my favorite and I love the button fly the best. I would do it in black but that is just me as you know by now. I recently bought some very heavyweight stretch denim in black and will make it from the Daughter Judy Coe Trouser. I will do a button fly instead of a zipper. I'm the opposite of you with shoes, as I tend to wear the same ones for years. My feet are very narrow and finding shoes that fit or foot beds that work with a heel are difficult at best. Doc Martens always fit well even though they are wide, my feet don't slide around. I usually wear super thick wool socks with them, even in summer. Naturalizer narrow shoes are perfect and I don't need to add insoles. Found some leather flats and Mary Janes on Amazon. For most they are too narrow but for me, perfect with a thin leather insole inserted.
Your outfits all look great and the matching multicoloured diamond set is my favourite. The skirt would be great with a plain coloured top to match one of the colours in the skirt.❤
thanks! i don't think it's the colors that i struggle with, it's the silhouette to pair with the skirt. i've tried tshirts and tanks but they don't look quite right. i will have to try one of my new Jesse tees--a cropped loose fit might look better.
I love all your choices and would add that the estella with the matching skirt looked really great so please don't get rid of that skirt. Also, I think the Giulia skirt would look great with a black or navy T or top... I tend to like a patterned skirt with a solid top. Anyway, I'm so impressed with your skills, agree with your choices and especially with anything linen these days. Oh yeah, PENNY?! 🥰 it's been a while since I've been by so I see I'm going to have to do a back dive. 💗
imho, the bib seems too wide but likely it's pulled yp too high: i'd try to loosen the straps to have the top of the bib lower about 3-5cm. if i remember correctly you're shorter than average (i'm too); so, i wonder if you shortened the pattern to fit the height, because if you didn't, maybe - wanting to have your waist in the right place - you compensate too long body of the dress through pulling the straps and heighten the bib which is exactly too wide just under the neck. just my guess. love your outfits & videos :)
Where did you find this pipeline of vintage Coach bags?! I worked for Coach from '95-'98 so a lot of these are like old friends. :) I feel like the Madhu top needs more balance on the bottom. The puff sleeve is really strong and you don't have anything at all on the bottom to balance it out like you did with the Pendrell and flares. I also find it interesting that the two pieces you said you don't know what to pair with, B6895 and Giulia skirt, seem to me the most versatile. I would wear the 6895 with navy, black, denim. To me it goes with almost anything. And same for the skirt. With all those colors you could pair it with virtually and color top and it would work. Thanks for sharing all of this. I really enjoy seeing your handmade wardrobe at work and how thoughtfully you approach it!
i've bought vintage coach on poshmark, ebay, and there are some dedicated FB groups. it's becoming quite popular, i think. thank you for the suggestions.

Thank you so much, Sheree!! ❤️

that sounds familiar! 🤣
Don´t get rid of this beautiul colourful skirt!!! I love your outfits! Thanks so much form sharing!
thanks for watching! don't worry--i'm not getting rid of it. i was just trying to make the point if i had to downsize for a move or something and needed to make difficult choices.
I like the way you also showed the handbag you wore with the outfit. Too often I just use the same handbag for a season.
i'm a bit obsessed with bags, so i have a lot. i have to actively make sure i change them out regularly so that i wear them all. 😂
The top and skirt matching sets were what I liked. Wear the skirts!
thanks for the feedback!
Please keep the skirt that matches the wrap too! The outfit is beautiful and looks fantastic on you. Loved the video ❤
thanks! i will have to make sure i wear it this summer to see how i feel about it.
Love these series Sara, thanks for sharing! 😊
you're welcome!

i'll take your word for it!

i hope you love the landers as much as i do! i've made them 3 times so far.
All your outfits are beautiful.

@@knottygnome gotcha. I do love learning about styles + seeing how U adjust it 4 urself.:)
Super nice choices… I love your jeans
Thank you! 😊
Thank you! I have convinced myself that the wrinkles of natural fiber fabrics are very charming! Hang them up quickly after the dryer.
i don't dry most of my clothes so unfortunately the wrinkles are part of life. 🤷🏻♀️
You always look GREAT 😊
Haha… the need to iron something stops me too often! Thanks for the nudge to teach for wovens… yours are lovely!
thank you! it's a struggle, isn't it?
Fun and interesting😊
glad you enjoyed it!
Really enjoyed your outfits thank you
glad you liked it!

I love linen and don’t iron! I use a spray wrinkle releaser! Works great!!! Think it’s by Downy
thank you for the suggestion!

thanks for the suggestions on the denim pinafore. i will give it a try.
I would have liked jeans with platform wedges, 70’s
Me, too!
my problem with platforms is one stiff breeze and you're going down. 😂
Multi colored diamond 2 pc is #1 favorite, then last one is #2 ❤❤❤

you're probably right. i will have to lengthen the straps and see if it helps.
Try navy with that green plaid shirt

Think of ironing as a type of meditation
great idea!
Also, I wear my sleeveless cotton shirts several times before I throw them in the wash. I dont mind wrinkles.
i only wash my clothes when dirty but i feel the need to iron them every wear. or at least i will unless i'm at home all day.
@@knottygnome but you see…as soon as you put your arm through the sleeve, it becomes hopelessly wrinkled. Embrace the wrinkles, Sister!
