- Honda Forza 250 s-matic NSS250EX
Error F occurs during automatic (D or S) driving.
The transmission is stuck in first gear (even if it is not realy gears)
After a switchoff the automatic mode is working fine again.
The error F occurs again quite soon.
In Manual mode there is rarely the error F (once avery two days).

L' erreur F se produit en conduite automatic (D or S).
La transmission est ensuite bloquée en première (même si ce n'est pas vraiement des rapports mais une varaiation de la poulie avant).
Après un redémarrage la transmission fonctionne de nouveau pendant un court instant avant que l'erreur F ne revienne.
En mode manuel l,erreur ne se produit que très rarement (1 fois tous les deux jours).

it is a very simple problem.just take it to an authorised honda dealer.i had the same problem on 2008.they fix it in 30 minutes. did you open the automatic transmission?it is not an ordinary scooter.you must do a reset after opening the automatic trasmission.i have no idea how they did it but you can buy from a honda dealer the forza ex 250 service manual to give you instructions about everything you want to fix by yourself.

There was an error during driving which put the transmission in limpe mode.
I open the transmission, remove the belt, the rear clutch and the s-matic variator at the front.
It was very dirty with a lot of dust, probably from the belt and the previous ones.
I cleaned everything with compressed air and some brake cleaner spray can.
There are two sensors on at the front and on at the back.
They are used by the system to measure the pulleys speeds.
Make sure to clean them.
I put back everything and it was working fine.
2000 km since and the problem did not came back.

Greetings from Uganda in Africa. I have a problem with my s-matic system after trying to change the s-matic system with others as we were trying to see whether others can work and they were showing f and after putting back mine, it also now showing f till now. Its in 1st gear revving high. Am so disappointed 😥 and desparate as it is my daily transportation. Please how can i reset my s-matic if its possible. I desparately need help. Thank you

Y la tengo q apagar en movimiento y se quita. Pero al rato me suele saltar la F quedándose la marcha arrancada.... Que puede ser????
