Yknow, if I had a nickel for every time a rough coaster in Pennsylvania was overhauled and got a new name with "Revenge" in it, I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird it happened twice.
Actually it will be 3 nickels, Phantom's revenge, Hydra the Revenge, and now Wildcat's Revenge.

Fun fact: the reason late shows had to go off despite their hosts being comedians who are under the Actor's Guild is because when one guild is on strike the other guilds cannot have their members fill the position.

I've ridden five of these rides. From best to worst, they're The Phantom's Revenge at Kennywood, The Riddler's Revenge at Six Flags Magic Mountain, Montezooma's Revenge at Knott's Berry Farm, Revenge of the Mummy at Universal Studios Florida, and The Riddler's Revenge at Six Flags New England.
I love how this series puts some random rollercoasters that you'd never even think about in the spotlight for a bit.

Montezuma's Revenge was my first coaster. Riddler's Revenge is my number 2 favorite coaster, what a machine.

I’m pretty sure Cat’s Revenge is a reference to the University of Arizona’s mascot, the Wildcat. Their campus is in Tucson. No explanation for the demented clown, though.

I will forever be a fan of Riddlers. Literally took 1 ride to figure out how to get in a comfortable position and never had a problem since.
me too. It's actually not hard at all to figure out how to ride the old stand-ups comfortably. Unfortunately with the new stand-up, you are not able to get the perch locked in a low position. The perch will bounce up & down during the ride. Wear a cup.

Pennsylvania must have some grudges as we have 3 coasters with Revenge in the name. Phantom's Revenge and Wildcat's Revenge both reside in my top 5. I always thought that GCI Wildcat's brake run sounded like a turkey call. My dad was into hunting for a little bit

For your next parody video, you should rank the rides at Brightstar Adventure Park, the fictional theme park from the show “Succession” which just aired its series finale last night. They use Six Flags Great Escape and Adventureland New York as shooting locations.

Hey good luck at Djurs Sommlerand. My uncle works there and recently got injured badly. It is a great theme park and the rides are definitely great. Like I said definitely enjoy it there.

Phantom's Revenge has aged well and, I'd be willing to bet, a review of these coasters in 2 years will have it at the top position
I just rode Wildcats Revenge today and I will tell you it's not better then Phantoms Revenge, Hersheypark didn't want this ride to have extreme airtime and you can definitely tell while riding.
Good thing they bought it from rmc then because their rides are known for their lack of airtime
Any time Six Flags New Orleans is brought up, I have to sink my two cents in (the water). Joker/Jester might’ve been a headache in every sense, but as a kid, I definitely would’ve ridden it had I gotten the chance. The novelty of going backwards was enough for us at the time.

Did you know that "Riddler's Revenge" was the original name for Superman The Ride at Six Flags Holland, now known as XPress: Platform 13 at Walibi Holland. However it never opened (obviously) opened with the Riddler's Revenge name. But when the rollercoaster was installed it had green tracks, but was painted red later before opening in 2000.
Ironically Six Flags Holland still received another green tracked rollercoaster in 2002.

Writers on STRIKE! I'm dying! The original name + put on movie posters was 1983's Revenge of the Jedi, later changed to Return of the Jedi. Montezuma's Is An Epic name so was "my" Greezed Lightning (B4 Six Flags started over using it) LOL! 10:14 Malcolm in the Middle opening 1st show! Lotta coasters Heck bent on Revenge!
