- Hi everyone, thank you for 30:07 of your time. In this video I restore, mod and back in function the XBOX 360 E. The XBOX 360 E is released in 2013 and is the last model from 360 series.
And is this XBOX 360 E good? Mostly, Yes. For this model are available about 2000 games, the games are affordable as CD or Digital Copy. Easy to maintenance, clean, mod and replacement parts are cheap.
Sprays that I used: Lagoon Blue FB-604 ( Matte ) and Matte Black for the Case, and Signal Yellow FB-106 for the Controller
Downside, many of the newer games are not supported. And the best graphics details you can get on TV ( whatever budget or not ) or Better PC monitors. Budget PC monitors may not reproduce good quality graphics.

🎮 The Witcher 2 Assassins of Knights Enhanced Edition I brought it for 5 euros but the CD1 is damaged and I manage to run it just few times, then stopped. This is what can happen with cheap deals, used games, but it is happening very rare 😀 fortunately the seller from where i got this game accept replacements.

@@campkira Hi bro, all depends from the condition and maintenance, this one is in a good condition and I think it will take more than 1000 hrs, also older game consoles have much better quality build from manufacture then these from nowadays. The new tech more reminds me on toys from kinder eggs, sad true :D we all pay for something new and better but we don't get it

just picked up a Xbox 360 E in near perfect condition with 2 controllers, an unopened kinect, and about 12 games all for about £40

I still have a 360 E, but I feel it is too light and makes too much noise compared to previous versions.
Still a great model to buy for carrying over your xbox content from the last 14 years.
My 360 is a Jasper Rev 2 Elite(the best of the fat 360 consoles) it’s actually fairly quiet.
@@EvilTurkeySlices the E has some loud disc drive noises, also you can hear the fan humming constantly, but that's all the noise it makes.
I’d recommend getting Xbox 360 S it’s better console than the E.

Great video, I have an original Xbox 360 Elite (not E but the original with the 120GB HDD) that I'm restoring myself. I should point out that the Xbox 360 had a failsafe built in to prevent modifications to the console, the DVD drive for example will only read DVDs if you don't swap the old DVD drive's mainboard into the new drive, due to a firmware key stored on the drive's mainboard. I just did this with my own Xbox 360 recently. The colors are amazing though

Hi Andrew! Beautiful results! However, I have a doubt. Aren't X360 DVD drives supposed to be tied to their specific motherboards? If so, how did you manege to make your replacement drive work with your restored X360? Anyway, thanks for the video and enjoy your X360 E!
For mine I swapped the board and it worked just fine, but I am curious what he did.

Awesome video. Even though I never owned a xbox 360 still loved watching this one. Looking at the games played at the end. I feel that the jump from xbox and ps2 to xbox 360 and ps3 was the biggest leap we have seen as gamers. Those games look pretty good TBH.

How did you make the new disc drive work? I mean, what about the bios?
If the dvd drive board isn't the same, then he faked it, it is impossible to make it work without the proper keys, and in this kind of boards you need to do rgh first in order to get them (and use a custom dvd board, you can't just grab a random one from another console)
He probably got a new drive, took the board out of the old drive and put it in the new drive. As long as the board isn't broken, it's easy to replace the disc drive.
@@legoboy-ox2kx he said the drive electronics were burnt. So it looks like he faked it. Probably not playing disc games in the video.
He bought a drive that was in a used xbox
@@przks you all are wrong as long as he read the nand he can get the DVD keys you don't have to RGH to get the key there are also ways to recover the DVD keys from the drive itself even though the drive is burnt out

@@przks He faked the entire console, when he's doing gameplay you can see the console isn't even on and he's not using his painted controller so I wouldn't be surprised if that wasn't working either

Chris Collett I agree on the disc drive part, but it’s a 21:9 monitor, that’s why the game looks weird and it seems that he just downloaded the game from the marketplace as the disc drive doesn’t work.
