At 6:27 your recommendation is a little bit unclear. You recommend the regular Diablo for full cycle and flowering, but then go on to recommend the X for flowering only, and add "in most cases for the average grower" Doesn't the average grower use their light from seedling to harvest? As an average grower, if I followed your recommendation and only used the Diablo X during flower, what am I supposed to use during veg? Shouldn't your recommendation be the other way around? Diablo for the average grower and the X model for those with more sophisticated operations, ie. commercial growers?
FYI....you can control both off/on and dimming with an AC Infinity Pro Controller, allowing adjustment to be made through WIFI.They should offer a kit to upgrade older lights to add the reflectors. Currently, HLG does not offer one.
@@stevep4236 first run went great with these new lights! I definitely noticed the lower buds getting much more light penetration along with the tricome production increasing. I also ran square1 genetics. So those alone will 9/10 times give you great results. However compared to my last SQ1G runs this has seemed to give a greater high along with dense buds that feel dispensary quality. You’ll notice the intensity of you run this next to any other light even other HLG. This is a true pro light for home growing connoisseurs. Very pleased with this light. Lastly it was also able to handle a SOG sooooo much better than my other HLG 600r and SF4000
What a shame. I winder why so bad ?Oh well they are all using the same chineese made diodes and after all. Just you get better warranty and c9mmunication when headquarters are located in the united states is all.
So you can run 3 of these on a 120v 20amp circuit? Awesome review as always my friend! I'm still using my original scorps(3) and loving them. Considering 2 of these for a new auto flower room lol.
At 6.09 amps per light, I would not try 3 lamps on a 20 amp circuit. That's 18.27 amps and over the recommended buffer by electric code. At the very least, I would stagger on times by a few minutes to lessen the surge.
@joshw3591 fuck that. I'll stick with HPS or double ended. The buds are way more dense anyways. I have 2 warehouses, not some lame ass garage grow. This is a commercial size grow.
the new one have lower efficacy on paper becouse blue leds are more effective and the new one have more red light. U can buy cheap light that have high efficacy becouse they use more blue but are worse then a more red that looks worse on paper. If u know this it hlps alot to understand the data cheat.
Very expansive light specially for quantum board and not removable driver which will increase heath during flower it’s seems way too expensive for a quantum board
@LED Grow Lights Depot 6 You mean assembled in the US with parts made in China. Think I will use ceramic metal halide & HPS LIGHTS till the price comes down.
@@rmcnasty7319 The boards are manufactured in Tennessee, aluminum for heatsink comes from right down the road from HLG. Driver is Inventronics which is a Chinese company but one of the best drivers on the market (level, if not better than Mean Well) and diodes are Samsung (Korean) and Osram (German) which are market leaders in quality and efficacy.
@LED Grow Lights Depot He would rather waste his money paying for less electrically efficient equipment that’ll end up costing him in the long run anyway, but yet he’s whining about the price of fixtures ??! 🥴🤣 #DERP
Code 'HLG10' for 10% off HLG: bit.ly/3Wakiag
It doesnt work
@@cameronmiller6222 The HLG10 code won’t work on DIY kits but it is active for all other HLG lights
Mine came with a sticker 😉
First and super great lights. I've got the original Scorpion Diablos that are still rolling hard.

Will the controller 69 work?

That’s a good looking light Erik! Thanks for the info!
What’s the best grow light money can buy in 2023? I was going to buy this light but if there is better I’d like to purchase that
These are the best of the best
Much better! Do every video like this.
Thanks. What do you like about this one over the others? I will consider the feedback 😊
The dark floor is a plus
How do I hang it?
How did the grow do?

Can you give me the size(length and width) of the tent?
Thank you for your valuable information, Could I use the discount coupon that you offer and another coupon as well?
what diodes?
The guys at HLG are great! Made in TN.
Cool vid man. Good to see there’s a comparison from Shane to you. We get to see almost all aspects from both reviews. Nice one
Slow down with the Quantum Meter please!
This light might be the perfect one for autos🤷🏾♂️
I need lights for a warehouse sized grow....these fit in a tent
😂 How big you expect? Buy more

I’ll never review his lights. Sorry.
@@Ledgrowlightsdepot why?
Grew lol gut but it went up
Ah your falling for someones advertising
Too expensive making these lights impractical!!
Price too high .
A dollar a watt sounds better. Bar type lights are a better choice . The new X doesn't have enough blue light.
American made with a good warranty costs a bit more :) The X is best for flowering. Plenty of blue for that.
