Lead head@ Great video! What distance do you throw, i believe that for long distance the 5.5 will do better..? I am surprised by the fact that 4.5 prodused a slightly better result! As for the wound, the difference is minimal.
Great content. Like seeing some head to head penetration test especially with non-pcp rifles, that are the same rifle model so it’s a apples to apples comparison. Would love to see more pen test using different pellet variants with some non-lead pellets as well. Also can’t help but wonder if the same results are repeatable every time (like say out of 3) with it being something like wood as the test media. Since the grain structure of wood is often different in places. I’d think metal cooking sheets wood maybe be more repeatable 🤷🏼♂️.
I predicted a tie between those two pellets, and it was almost a tie. But I went wrong with 10.5 gr ... I thought it would do the best even though I dont know the velocity. Whats the velocity by the way? And is it softer than the 7.4 gr?
The .22 cal 9.9 gr pellet I used for the penetration test in this video was gamo luxor cu , I forgot to put it in the video , thanks again for watching
H&N Silver Point 11,57 grains cal 4,5 penetrated wood and metal. The cal 4,5 combined velocity and extra-heavy pellet is very destroller more than cal. 5.5. Test cal .177 vs .25 : th-cam.com/video/Eg5JM_AN-H4/w-d-xo.html
I’ve got a 3 yr old 125 that needed some lube. I used silicon pneumatic air tool oil. I was hoping it wouldn’t diesel, but it did. But it did return velocities back to the 950 range using the 14.3 Crossmans. Thanks for the video outlining disassembly. Might need to replace seals in the future but oiling seems to have been effective so far. Also groups improved (36 yds). Thanks for watching ! Your hatsan is power full man 🦾🦾 , I don’t know it’s the elevations (5000 feet above sea level ) or mine just used and can’t shoot it faster than 920 fps w 14.3 cp
Thanks for watching, the .22 was vortex when I got it but not any more , I switch the barrels and now the 22 cal is spring piston , it was radio in the background
Great video once the maddening noise stopped, thanks for your efforts champ.
Thanks 👍 it was radio 😀

Wow impressed by the 177. 🔥
if shoot over 30 yards or more you will see big difference the heavy weight 22 cal will deliver way more energy when it hit
Predictable results with hatsan 125 good comparison 👏
Thanks for watching 🙏👍

Wow amazing my friend ,😍

Thanks for watching ! I was about 15 feet away , 22 probably does better in longer distances 🦾
My clip broke after 150 pellets were fired.
Which one is more accurate

Thanks for watching ! I will make more penetration video for these calibers soon w metal and other materials 🙏👍

very good video. which is most important, caliber size or the weight ?
Thanks for watching ! You mean important for accuracy or penetration ?
@@Leadheadsam Which brings more power at longer distance, lighter .22 pellet or heavier .177 pellet....?
@@CeylonLastMile heavier .177 can bring more power in longer distances
@@Leadheadsam thanks 👍
Nice video 👍

Good job 😃
