- At NAMM 2024, Ernie Ball Music Man Basses went beyond expectations. Everything from rolling out classic designs, updating finishes and options, to cutting-edge Instruments design for the modern player, these are certain to be a hit!
The Bongo with the maple fretboard looks amazing!!!! Very cool!!!
It's a WOW for sure!
I get that buying a genuine Ernie Ball stingray these days is all about the bling, but disappointed not to see some natural finish stingray specials, similar to the Tim Commerford limited edition stuff. Not that I'm likely to buy one at todays prices - even the high end sterlings are pushing it these days!
It's so they can get away with not using swamp ash on everything. Not that it matters to how the bass sounds but it keeps costs down.
These basses are magnificent, I'm jealous of the bass players
Hey, we can always use another bass player in the world. Join the fun!

Love
For me the last one is the finest.
"Something for everyone" - unless you're a lefty...
They used to do so many cool options for us cack-handers (I've owned 5 Stingrays in my time - still have 2), now it's pretty basic stuff in standard colours. Such a shame!
👍👌
When dose the dark rainbow release?
a brulee bongo would be TOP TIER
USA sterlings, get your act together musicman and release some new sterlings.
We're is the EB Sterling?
We would certainly love to see a Sterling in the lineup!
When dose the dark
darkray.... wow
Why so darn expensive!!!!!!
For the company? Because people will buy them no matter what they charge. And for the purchaser, to be part of an exclusive club and defend it on messageboards and blame your poor technique for the design flaw of the G string on the 5ers being chronically too close to the fret beveling edge.
I liked these instrument a lot more when they were $1500.
I wish they would do something with the USA sterling line. Those are killer and the smaller body and super fast neck fits me perfectly.
