Zomba is known for his clutch factor but you can't outmatch the clutch factor of Leo. Zomba was doing very well in all of those games, he just couldn't close it
I think it's a bit overrated though; Zomba that is. Not to say he isn't good, but I think you won't find it that uncommon for players who main characters like ROB who have serious cheese kill options to make comebacks often. Not all characters are created equal in that sense. ROB & Aegis may both be top tier characters, but you really have to earn your kills with Aegis. There are plenty of times as you see even in this set where you can get kills with ROB no matter what the percentage is.
Zomba is so ridiculously quick in following you and in reacting to stuff, he played insanely good here. He's easily the best ROB but if he played a speed demon he could get a lot out of it. It was 3-0 but it was close.
He should try out some fast rushdown characters as possible secondaries. ROB's much less susceptible to counterpicks than most characters, but secondaries are becoming more and more necessary as the meta continues.
And I gotta amend what I said somewhat, Anathema is the better ROB. He is more technical and can do z-drop carry combos like we've seen from Zackray, and won the ditto vs Zomba - but that doesn't define the best of a character, results always do, and Anathema beat Onin and outplaced Zomba last tournament I saw
Best Rob *Main Zackray is head and shoulders the best Rob but Zomba is definitely #2. Those are the only 2 Rob's who when ya watch them, they just look different. Actually alot like MkLeo and Zackray 's Joker's. Leo #1 but both of their Jokers just look and move at a higher level than all the rest

@@greedo194 not to be rude but that’s simply not true and I’d wager most well versed players would agree rob is a massive threat against pythra particularly off stage. Obviously pyra dair is a threat to Rob’s recovery but that’s the case with most of the cast and unlike most of the cast rob has a lot of room to play with his up b to avoid it. Outside of that there really isn’t much else. All of this is opinion based so to each is own but imo rob is for sure top 3 worst characters for a pythra player to face once they’re off stage.

I absolutely hate rob but I can’t deny Zomba is a wild man. He reminds me so much of Kolas play style and he can just utterly destroy you if you have any fear in your heart but that’s the thing against Leo who has a good record vs both he has no fear or embraces it and gives it right back to them.
Mmmm idk. Those gryo assisted early kills with side b is mostly what kept him in it. Leo was masterful in neutral and managed to recover pretty well given the character and Rob's offstage threat.

Rob is pretty bad vs aegis actually. Offstage is the only place he has an edge

Why is Leo so insistent on Aegis? I've noticed he somewhat struggles with players he's destroyed with byleth and Corrin.
Because he wont be bad with those matchups forever. He will always adapt and get better. The man knows what is good for him
