Congratulations Jacobi! It feels like FOREVER that we are waiting for another baby. Can you share the treats with Steve, he seems so LONELY--as in he wants his women. Jay and Jessie are so adorable, they come up to you right away. They all love your spoiling them.

Hi Deejay, I hope your day is going well. Thank you so much for all you chose to share. There are many health challenges that people need to work on. I personally have a challenge in taking time for me off from work. I tested positive for Covid for the first time in 3 years (knocking on wood) and it was difficult for me to sit back and rest. I struggled with not going to work yesterday and fretted and worried. Today I prayed over it and said 'You take the wheel for a minute?' I slept in until 10am, and then struggled again with the worry that things would fall apart, but then I rested. Things that are not 'normal' for us can be a challenge.
When sitting here on Friday afternoon and realize it is time for a "Do Your Best" video. Hey y'all

Lol! My boys quickly learned not to utter “I’m bored!” Like my mother when we were growing up, saying out loud we were bored resulted in assignment of chores like polishing silver or folding laundry. My boys were fast learners🥴😉😏

When our kids would say "I'm bored," we would give them a chore to do. Nor were they allowed to lay around watching TV or playing video games. During the summer they were allowed to volunteer for community service projects, after their home chores were done. Time spent in a constructive manner was time earned for fun with friends.

DeJay, since having knee replacement surgery in early December, Physical Therapist have been challenging me with a lot of exercise. Not my idea but, got to do it. Love the animals especially the donkeys

Congratulations to both boys. Where I live it’s been -24 to -29 degrees. I have 2 little fur ball puppies and they love it outside even when it’s been that cold. I can make it any longer than 10 mins in that weather. My goal will increase time and length of the walks as it gets at least 10 above 0. I don’t like planks but will try. Take care and continue with health goals. Love to all❤️

As a kid growing up, we used to stay at her grandparents house a lot. Just down the road from my grandparents house right in the middle of town. Mr. David Spann had two donkeys. I don’t remember if they were full-size or miniatures but they were female and male. We used to walk down and feed them religiously. I don’t remember who’s idea it was but one of my cousins decided to give the donkeys Hubba Bubba Bubblegum. Those donkeys chewed up that bubblegum for what seem like hours. I don’t know what happened to it. I don’t know if they swallowed it or spit it out or what. It was the absolute funniest thing to see them chewing up gum. Of course we were kids and didn’t know better. So we didn’t know if it was good or bad. When Daniel mentioned the peanut butter on the celery, it made me think of that story. Now here it is 40+ years later, and I have moved into the apartment directly across the street from the old donkey lot. I just thought I’d share that story. We laughed so hard though.

When we kids said "I'm bored," my mom would say "oh OK, you get to do the dishes, or get the laundry out of the dryer, feed the dogs crunches, weed the garden, vacuum the living room," etc.. you get the drift. We learned real quick to not say that anymore n to act busy around both parents.😍🤣

Those donkeys are just so much fun. I sure hope Ralph Doss of Grampa Adler Farms gets some. He's been talking about doing so. I just challenged myself to get out of my apartment 🙃 more and go walking. 🚶I walked to the grocery store yesterday-was thrilled to get the fresh air. It felt so good in spite of it being a little cold. Getting harnesses for my cats so I can try taking them outside when the weather is warmer.. CONGRATULATIONS 🏆Jacoby. I'm so proud if you!
