Battle Brothers is a turn based tactical RPG which has you leading a mercenary company in a gritty, low-power, medieval fantasy world. You decide where to go, whom to hire or to fight, what contracts to take and how to train and equip your men in a procedurally generated open world campaign. Do you have what it takes to lead them through bloody battles and to victory?
The game consists of a strategic worldmap and a tactical combat layer. On the worldmap you can freely travel in order to take contracts that earn you good coin, find places worth looting, enemies worth pursuing or towns to resupply and hire men at. This is also where you manage, level up and equip your Battle Brothers. Once you engage a hostile party the game will switch to a tactical map where the actual fighting takes place as detailed turn based combat.

Man I was waitin for a long time for Matias' adventures, keep up the good work
Simo, try a dagger build in one of your recruits, against armored surrounded targets is broken, and also try a whip build too, very good in disarming dangerous humanoid enemies. Edit: a whip + net build is really broken, on my band i always have two of them. Another excelent for Legends is a master slinger with northern sling, very deadly.
Taking a level 1 brother with a Fencing Sword shield combo to an orc battle as one of his first few fights is truly one hell of an initiation ceremony. I would've been more surprised if he survived the onslaught. Same with the Warbrand brother.
On a brighter note, man do I love Battle Brothers. They make orcs terrifying as hell. Also its fun seeing someone play Battle Brothers, I remember when I took level 1 brothers into the frontline and got them slaughtered.

You know that horse ghost thing has like 120 health and jumps around the map when you hit it it's a pain to deal with usually but nope one shot does the job

What do you use to mod the game? After getting into it myself I noticed it was a bit different from your videos and Battle Brothers doesn't have steam workshop support at the moment. Great game in vanilla as well though, I've been absolutely loving it

For sure, I've been wanting to play around with the stronghold mod on a longer playthrough but haven't got round to it yet, kind of like a survival playthrough where you're at war with all the human factions.@@NotSimo

Can someone point me to the third video in this series? I've seen the first 2 and there's 11ish battles that appear to have happened since the 2nd video plus more recruits, so I'm assuming there's one missing.

I see your using the legends mod. Question here if you have mods active do you gain achievements? It’s the only thing stopping me from playing this
I think you do. As long as it corresponds with the actual achievement, you should get it if achieved. Legends at least adds a lot of new stuff and tweaks certain things like perks, but it doesn't remove anything that significantly impacts achievements from what I can tell.

Hey friend, it is a custom backstory from a overhaul mod called "Legends"
just pick the Beggar start at the beginning and you'll have the power (there are 2 beggar starts, make sure you choose the correct one)
