A few months back, Gaius and some of the crew moved one of our SIP sheds using a Lug-all cable hoist (also known as a come-along).
In this video, Gaius talks about the mechanics of how such a small device is able to do so much.

Great info - As an introvert, if I ever end up building something myself I'd definitely need this haha!
“This is great for people who like working alone or simply don’t have any friends” damn Gaius, you really just gonna call us out like that? He’s not wrong, though. 😂
This is the company that should be in quesnel british columbia. Thanks Gaius for the detailed description, once again
Great explanation. Personally, the More Power Puller is a better choice simply because it comes with Dyneema not steel cables. Way safer.
Great overview of this tool. I have this model and it's indispensable. I would love to have the stap version for weight savings and comfort, but used ones rarely come for sale. Thanks Gh 👍
Looking forward to the home building course online
This would be a great tool to rig to the back of a truck
$260 or $345?
Is using this to apply compression to the joints, combined with planed timbers, why you don't tend to house your joints?
A good Made in U.S.A. tool
So a come-along?
See, how this device with that giant lever is only 2 tons , Yet the cheap chinese ones claim to pull 4 tons? 😂
