Jack Sobon - Timber frame pegs and how to make your own

This video was shot during a week long Timber Frame workshop held in Burs on the Swedish island of Gotland, 1-6 july 2024. Timber frame instructors were Jack A. Sobon and Neil Godden and 25 people from Sweden, Finland, Norway and Estonia attended the course. The workshop was organized by Henrik Larsson, board member of Stolpverk Norden.

What kind of mallet was he using there? Was it a rawhide mallet?
