The sad part is that we will never get to hear Eric Carr's memories of these years. It would be interesting to hear his view of what Paul and Gene were like to work with.

We didn't see much of Mark but held his own with the self indulgence of Paul and Gene, Rock in peace Eric and Mark.

I really like Mark’s guitar work and tone on Animalize. Too bad it couldn’t have worked out.

3:13 Oh, flip. Richard Perry was my boss in 1985. I was an assistant engineer at his studio in Hollywood called Studio 55, next door to the Paramount lot. I worked with the Pointer Sisters, Donna Summer and a lot of big names that year. Got some great stories.

These stories bring back such awesome memories. I've read all the books, but the way they're pieced together here with the animation and comedy sprinkled in is amazingly entertaining!!!!!!! Very well done!!!!! Thanks for all the hard work. I'm enjoying every volume!!!!!

In my view Paul Stanley can say whatever he wants. He is Kiss. He carried this band on his shoulders and he is the image of Kiss. Love him.

Gag worthy indeed. Another thing I've noticed in these excerpts is how humorless Simmons is. There's very little joy. Everything's move and counter move. It reminds me of Trump somewhat.

at the Animalize show in StLouis on 12- 4- 84 let in to vestibule area of arena early, and I heard music coming from inside the hall. I went looking around and found an unlocked door to far back of the hall before they had opened the doors to the arena, and KISS were there on stage soundchecking, trying to figure out the bridge/ solo to Thrills in the Night.. I saw em try it abt 3 times, and that was it, they walked backstage. It was amazing. I was just a punk teenager lookin around..
I read in a Kiss book that KISS played Thrills in the Night 1st time ever live in StLouis that night. It's not true. They did not play it that night, as they had struggled with it at soundcheck.. Kulick didnt know how to play it.. neither did Paul
Queensryche opened for em, 'The Warning' tour They were good
    I'll never forget that
    so strange
...and Queensryche opened with Nightrider from their ep and it was loud AF n badass(!)

The 70s Kiss were my favorite but I also like the 80s metal Kiss. IMO it wasn't really Kiss - it was more like Paul Stanley solo albums. He really did a good job. It was as good as any of the mid-eighties 80s hair metal.

So,no word of Eric helping or contributing? also what Paul describes Gene doing sounds as bad or worse than anything Ace or Peter ever did.I may have heard bits and pieces of this album years ago but out of all those little sound bites of songs just played there was only one i could stomach.

I sincerely enjoy Paul's unapologetic feminine side....even when it is super feminine lol Paul is truly a dude who does not "care" what people think to the extent that it'll scare him away from doing something he truly wants to do and likes. I think he is the only KISS member you can say this about, except maybe Ace. But Ace did not have a feminine side; that is ok though.

no Paul .sometimes your write a solo sometimes you improvise, depends on the player ,and often how talented they are , known plenty who can write a solo, few who can do anything good on the spot .
Bruce was good ,and he did somegreat solos . but it was mark that got me into kiss .
