Should've had Timmy share his fairly odd parents with Chester. You know, the guy known for being dirt poor and living with a disgraced Baseball failure of a Dad. He far more qualifies for miserable than the Mary Sue.
They could've even still done the contrast of the other kid being this seemingly exemplary godchild, since we saw in Fairy Idol and It's A Wishful Life that Chester would use his wishes in unselfish ways too. Except he can do it without being ungodly annoying like Chloe.
It's bc his father loves him and he might have a hard life but his father is around Go back a lot of odd parents go to young kids who have parents that don't co parent and also have trauma in their life
On that section about Crocker: He used to be much more intelligent and subtle, which made him dangerous and thus an interesting villain. In the later seasons his personality boiled down to him being crazy and nothing else. Crazyness by itself doesn't make a threat. The trope is called "mad genius" for a reason. I just think the idea of having Timmy share his fairies with another person feels forced. I mean, isn't the idea of Timmy having fairies similar to Aladdin and his Genie?
As someone that just met Kari Wahlgren(voice of chloe and also less bad characters like Haruhara Haruko from FLCL) I hate to talk shit about her cause shes super nice. But christ is Chloe's voice grating. Like how can such an amazing actress be forced to this.
She was also in Aliens in the Attic and while she wasn't bad in it per se, there wasn't anything that made her performance memorable or notable and that's a sad thing to say about her.
I missed when they made Cosmo not stupid but his wand was just broken. I also missed when they made Vicky suspicious of Timmy. They just messed up by dumbing down characters and ruining potential good plot material
Darnell Millien Sparky can work in very specific circumstances. He at the very very least had a personality (despite the fact that that personality is kind of annoying). He also at least had some sort of connection to the main cast, apparently being the “fairy” of mr crocker.
I hate the thumbnail because Crocker is given a front angle, he's starting straight ahead, but his mouth is drawn as a side mouth in the center of his face and I wanna die
It’s safe to say that fairly odd parents was one of those 2D animated cartoons that was absolutely allergic to the idea of drawing their characters from different views, and always had to see them from the side with one ear at a time.
You know when you think about it, the people who made Fairly Odd Parents are magical... around Season 9 they made all quality in the show *disappear,* like magic!
RIP the development of Chester, AJ, Sanjay, Elmer, Trixie, Tootie, Chip, Mark, the Yugopotamians, Bender, and pretty much any minor character from the first several seasons.
6:11 Jay...It's might be subtle, but I think you're forgetting to realize something... Crocker using his place as a teacher in order to get into Timmy's house... Is *terrifying* Jay.
The image shows the bad character design of mr. Crocker, his ears are below his damn eyes and mouth, I mean what normal human has ears on their neck, he looks like a damn alien trying to look like human. I fear no man but that thing it scares me
Chloe isn't a Mary Sue at all she is a very flawed character. She is secretly crazy deep down, she is a workaholic, too much of a nerd, wants to live up to her parents but is hard on herself, doesn't no how to just chill, hot tempered, makes bad wishes just like Timmy.
The problem was simply too much Chloe. If she only appeared sometimes and they didn't make every episode about her. I think she would be more well received. Like Gibby from iCarly. He only appeared sometimes.
This episode literally displays EVERYTHING that was wrong with Modern FOP. I'm glad the show finally died, but I AM upset that the show didn't get the proper sendoff, and that's the final nail in the coffin.

“The Fairly Oddparents” are technically dead now. It died once Sparky was introduced to the series, anyhow. 2001-2012 were the good times. Especially, 2001-2008!
After 3 years of recovering from his last battle and preparation, Alpha Jay returns to tackle his worst enemy........ ..... Fairly Oddparents Season 10!
Fairy Con the worst episode? What are you smok.......(realized I confused Fairy Con and Cosmo Con episode) Ohhh....I totally agree!! Fairy Con sucked lol
The fact that Mr Crocker didn’t just walk out of the fridge with a iPhone X and take pictures of Cosmo and Wanda when Timmys Dad basically said they were out in the open just floating.
Renamon 565 Just like Spongebob before the sequel. While post-first movie Spongebob had some good episodes, FOP after Sparky and Chloe were introduced had zero.
When you started talking about the animation error at 3:21 I thought I was supposed to notice that Chloe was just standing there completely still and unblinking. EVERYONE is doin things wrong in that scene smh Edit: Actually they're all doin everything wrong in the show itself now, good lord
I thought that it was weird how wanda was looking right at me. But like you said i got side tracked trying to find some super obvious flaw like an extra arm or repeating background doubles.
I've always been curious; Where did Tootie go? Missy? Didn't Missy and Timmy kiss in Finding Emo? Tbh the series was better off with Missy instead of Chloe. I can at least tolerate her, and she deserves more screentime
Getting rid of Vicky actually got rid of the reason why timmy got his fairy godparents Chole didnt even deserve God parents she had everything she wanted and the reason she got them is stupid a fairy shortage
Honestly we could have changed the idea of timmy sharing fairies around to be better like with tootie but she learns the rules this time. thus elevating her from side to main character plus it would be funny to see timmies reactions
On another note, I felt like the joke with Timmy's dad seeing Cosmo and Wanda would work if instead of seeing them, Cosmo and Wanda quickly turned into a pot and a pan or something. He goes "Hi Timmy. Hi Chloe. Hi weird pot and pan with eyes. Wait I don't remember your mother buying pots and pans with eyes." before getting distracted by Crocker saying something in the fridge. He freaks out over the talking fridge and that's why he welds the fridge shut, beats it up, and drags it outside with his car. The joke would have made more sense and not make Timmy's dad look like such an utter moron. He was dumb in the early seasons, but never this stupid.
They could've made Chloe an interesting character whilst keeping the entire "She's perfect" thing. They could've made her parents rich but neglectful and emotionally abusive to her and not care about her at all so she would go out her way to be perfect in everyway and do as many good things as possible to get her parents attention. She always wanted someone who cared about her and though she did have friends, they never really cared about the real her and only her achivements and status. Because of this and her neglect she grew up thinking that her needs didn't matter and with horrible self esteem. When she realised she was getting to share fairies with Timmy, she was happy that maybe Timmy and her could be friends now that they were forced to share fairies. But Timmy still didn't understand why she got fairies even though she had a perfect life and was rude to her which made her feel even worse. Over time they could've bonded over having parents who didn't care about them, since Timmy's parents don't give a shit about him, and became good friends or something.
I agree, its not like there isn't a precedent for this because Remy Buxaplenty seemingly looks like he has everything he could ever want but the reason why he has Juandisimo is because his mom and dad are extremely neglectful and only care about making a lot of money.
I can see why early seasons never had Crocker face the camera. That thumbnail will haunt me. Also this episode feels like it was written by someone who has never watches a FOP episode before and only know about it through vague descriptions of the characters.
Yeah, it’s honestly safe to say that fairly odd parents was one of those 2D animated cartoons that was absolutely allergic to the idea of drawing their characters from “other angles”, and always had to have them partially from the side with one ear at a time.
8:37 Also isn't Mr. Turner like the FOP equivalent of MacGyver. I mean, he made a computer out of an old tv set, typewriter, and other spare parts for crying out loud!
They shat on Jarhead's character so bad. He used to be a badass Schwarzenegger-like fairy, and now he's like every one else in the show now - stupid, wimpy and annoying.
Realizing that the thumbnail has front facing Crocker... Now that we got an even more cursed version of front facing Crocker in the new live action show that is on Paramount Plus... 😬😬
Looking at that awkward thumbnail, it honestly seems safe to say that the fairly odd parents was one of those 2D animated cartoon shows that was absolutely allergic to the idea of drawing their characters from “other angles”, and always had to have them partially from the side with one ear at a time.
I personally think there is a way for Chloe to be a good character, and I’m here to explain. Chloe should be the child of the Dinklebergs, and will still maintain status as a character who is perfect in every way. However, instead of Timmy being friends with here and sharing his fairies, he should be enemies with Chloe. Chloe should be oblivious to the fact that Timmy hates her. That should be how Chloe is written.
You're just a hater. FOP is the the PINNACLE of god tier writing. You just lack the appropriate IQ to get the subtle nuances like Cloe's frustration with her inner being which is why she continues to strive in an attempt to indefinately improve herself, Cosmo's and Timmy's dad's battle with ADD the intense love triangle between Wuandicimo, Cosmo and Wanda and the overall plot development of the over-arching story. And you call this a review.
I hate how they got rid of timmy's problems. His parents love him now, vicky is gone, francis is gone, His parents are rich and so on. The whole reason tummy had faries was because His life was miserable. Now His only problem is chloe.
I still feel like Let Sleeper Dogs Lie is the worst - it completely undoes Crocker's relatable, tragic backstory just to self-insert Sparky into the mix and toss in a few dumb jokes that don't work (Like apparently the reason Wanda calls Timmy "sport" is because fairies have bad memories)
6:26 Its that specific moment, after more 10 years of Timmy's protecting his Fairy OddParents secret identity are completely gone Apparently its okay to show fairy oddparent as long they completely idiots like his Timmy's Dad
There is honestly so many better ways to put a perfect character in- give her flaws that make her need fairies. 1. Maybe she struggles making friends and has a really poor social life. 2. Maybe her parents work too much and she's always constantly alone. Which for a child, would be horrible as shes not getting attention from her family. 3. Literally anything else-
Maybe they could make Chloe TRY to be perfect, but she's always miserable because perfection is impossible. Maybe we could see that Chloes parents are either super strict, or they just never pay attention to her. Either of those situations would make Chloe want to act like a perfect kid and make her parents proud
3:59 Actually, that *is* something you need to point out; when I first saw this shot, I thought the error was that Chloe (who’s supposed to be about to explode from excitement) was a completely still image.
Alpha Jay 3:20 : blatant animation errors that even a 2 year old can spot Me: hey I’m 17 I should spot this! Also me: wait lemme rewatch I didn’t see it-
5:30 the reason he is a fairy God parent is because in one episode it explains cosmo was never meant to be a fairy god parent but Wanda switch his test and when they figured out Jordan looked passed it because they were crying
What did you think of Fairy Con?

A nice reference on a bad show, how depressing

Everyone seems to disagree on what the worst episode of Fairly Oddparents is.
Everyone DOES agree that it's somewhere in season 10.
Timmy's dad being scared and thus towing it out of the house and Crocker flying out would make more sense.
Either of those situations would make Chloe want to act like a perfect kid and make her parents proud
giving Chloe an inferiority complex would have actually made her a lot more tolerable.
