The car literally looks brand new after that. You gave a bit more time to admire the finished article which was good. I think you should give a few more seconds at the end of your videos to allow the viewer to admire your hard work.
Gyeon Bathe+ is the same... no bubbles and doesn't feel particularly slick. The protection it leaves behind does last a couple weeks and is noticeable at the next wash.
I do love a red car that has been freshly detailed to a high standard and the UP falls into that bracket. We have two red cars at present and my 21 year old son is in the market for a Mk 1 MX 5 and at present a red one is top of his list so we will be setting off on a 900 mile round trip in the next few days to look at one for him as his second car to replace the one he passed his test in three years ago just a pity it's not a red like yours.
@@AutoCareHQ Hello! sorry for the late response - Ok - here's where it gets a bit tricky -the brand.. it's either Griot's 3 in 1 wax spray or it's Xtreme Solutions Hybrild polymer spray. It might end up being both tbh.. I had quite the time tracking the origin as the UK seller is Autobright and whilst they openly advertise it's US origin in manufacture they don't say by whom. Regardless it's fantastic.
Good day, You have a big advantage that you can wash cars without being punished for waste water pollution. In the Czech Republic it is not allowed and if the police catch you when washing the car in front of your own house, you are penalized with a big fine. Otherwise, you do this exactly according to my ideas. Congratulations and envy.
Well done Heather on brining some shine back into that Up! Every time I see one of your videos it reminds me to purchase a short gun as I’m still running the OE Kranzle lance 😅
Hey, I always look forward to your videos and as always, very noticeable transformation. Have you ever tried or considered posting a video of doing a rinseless wash on a vehicle? It may just make all your other chemicals you have redundant 😂. Regards.
Thank you very much! Honestly I’m still nervous about Rinseless washing even though I know it’s a very trusted method. I do need to try it at some point though!
I was the same until I took the plunge round about two weeks ago. I used ONR (V5) and was pretty much blown away by it. There are some really good rinseless products on the market, particularly due to some of them being updated to have improved characteristics/performance. IMO rinseless would be best suited for mild to moderately dirty vehicles though, so very useful for maintenance washes. Thanks for replying and hope you do try it out.
Fabulous detail as your usual perfect standard Heather 🥳. Question for you, What do you use to kneel on when tackling the wheels on your details? I’m after a decent kneeling mat myself and have no clue 🤔🤔
Top work as always, Heather. Finally ordered a set of those Rimmats, wondered where you got them from an saw the link in the description and they look great for cleaning the full tyre without getting in and out the car to move it during cleaning. Must remember your code for in2detailing too, as I placed an order there the other day! lol
Another great video!! I know that this is a pretty small car but how long does it typically take you to detail a car? I know that it is faster when you build a routine that you can stick with.
Thank you! If it's just a wash, chemical decon and protection it's usually about 2.5-4 hours depending on the size of the car and how bad it is to start with
Hello Heather, I really enjoyed the video and the finished results are excellent!👍 I am really interested in the Carbon Collective salt removal product you used. My daily driver gets subjected to heavy salt contamination as I live in Buxton in the Peak District. All the best, John.
Great video - and nice to hear honest reviews of products. I think you should give yourself more credit for all your hard work in the ‘reveal’ segment at the end - it’s too short😊
Thanks Paul! It’s tough because loads of viewers drop off at this point and TH-cam thinks that’s a bad sign with the video 😂 would love to make the end bit a little bit longer though!
Hi Heather, I am on my way to finalize my set of products for amateur detailing 😅 I'll be using self service car washes, so trying to keep it as light as possible. Therefore I've been trying to spot in your videos when using the IK sprayer 1.5 liters do you have leftovers from the citrus pre washes or it's just enough? I am thinking of getting a 1 liter one for washing my SQ5, but not sure if it will be enough to cover the lower part of the car when I need extra cleaning power before the snow foam.
Just a quick question; So for a car of this dimension, how long would it normally take to wash it and get the end result you did? Keep up the good work. Love your videos!
Hey heather what are the little blocks/pads you have the car wheels on and where can I get them from please? Also I find it interesting how you put the product onto the brush to do tyres.
@auto Care hq have you had a chance of testing the kranzle Pressure Washer against the bigboi Washr pro? I’m a bit stuck selecting between those two. Thanks and great videos!
Thanks for watching! I haven't tried the Washr Pro unfortunately. From what I can tell, the Kranzle K10 is lighter and has a slightly higher flow rate, but the Washr Pro has quick connectors and also lets you draw water from a tank (instead of using mains water) which isn't possible with the K10
@@AutoCareHQ thank you for the reply. If @bigboi ever donates a washr pro to your channel (which they should) i would love to see a comparison between the two washers
Looks great! Do you find you comfortably get enough business per week as a Detailer? I'm so interested in all the self-employment jobs out there, this one seems very practical and satisfying but I imagine it's also niche and hard work?
Thanks for watching! I don’t actually do detailing full time. I’m a freelance web designer so just do detailing on the side. I do get a decent amount of enquiries through my website and social media and it definitely helps when clients spread the word too
Do you have this problem? After working hard washing and protecting vehicles, water then decides it wants to leak out of nooks and crannies and streak down the paint. Any ideas how to prevent that? Thank you Heather.
It’s fine on a ceramic, it’s only very mildly acidic. Here’s a link to the product, it gives all the pH levels at different dilutions www.carboncollective.com/elixir-salt-remover-concentrate/
@@AutoCareHQ Thanks for that, i have been gently using the odd cotton bud for tar removal, and often wondered how i would deal with cloths should it become a bigger job. Best wishes.
Got my hands on one of their snow foams and their detailing spray not long ago. Only used the snow foam in my IK sprayer so far, but the Detailer I was very impressed with. Used it on my alloys after a wash, and it's kept the oxide juice at bay nicely, and a passing jet wash brings them very well afterwards.
I like how you explained your usage of each product and their application scenarios
