I recently bought a used 17 gen 3. Maybe a police trade-in...US made, coyote brown finish, with some holster wear. Anywho, it shoots great, very accurate, no malfunctions. I don't know that I'll concealed carry it, but it'll make a great truck/house/hiking gun. Cheers!

Gold dots in124 in a 17 are hard to beat. I’ve been using Horady 124xtps for a while working on my reloading skills.. it depends on what I’m doing determines what I can carry. I like the 9 in G19 sometimes I have to come down to a 380 pocket carry bodyguard.. I wish I could carry them all.
The limited space of the finger grooves in the Glock 19 Gen I believe made my middle finger uncomfortable because my middle finger was hitting the trigger guard after 40 rounds (unlike the Gen 5, which was comfortable). Will the Glock 17 Gen 3 give that same problem?

You had to make it to 2:50 before the first um. So thanks for toughing it out till then at least. We are hoping to improve on camera every chance we get audio/visual/ and all that. Could just watch with the sound off till we get it lined out.

Lol no doubt about it. I have a Glock 21 and was able to adjust the mag release. The 19x mags are 19 + 1 round mags.

I believe you have a little more room. Although that being said stick with the Gen 5 I like it without the finger grooves.
