Thanks for the Upload. I was a Passenger on that flight and I was fervently hoping someone would Film the landing so I can see what happened. It was the most bumped landing approach I ever had, so the go around was actually no surprise, but still nerve-wracking. The second attempt felt like all or nothing :D
No way! Hope you enjoyed watching the video. I was on holiday there and I got up early to see the cool paint scheme! It was fairly windy that day (with a crosswind) so that would explain the turbulence coming down. You touched down outside of the landing zone so the pilot had to go around, caused by the wind. I had a go around into London Gatwick in July and it was nerve wracking, a plane still taking off was the cause. Hope you had a good flight otherwise! Jason@JBTripReports

Good capture unstable on the final approach that was a good touch and go.....i really thought that was going to be a stall or a tail strike....close call

Yep the winds had picked up a bit so more unstable but I wasn’t expecting a touch and go! 🤣there was definitely a high risk of a tail strike but the skilled pilots thankfully took control.
