I'd recommend putting wood chips around your fruit trees as a mulch. It keeps the soil moist and as they break down they feed the tree. They also reduce the weeds around it. I use a 4-5 inch layer.

I bought a bunch of fruit trees from Costco. They all died. I think I have a brown thumb.. I want to give it another try though.

Make a watering schedule so you know they’re are getting adequate water but aren’t drowning, lol as well as it is best to move to a bigger pot most stores people by plants from have plants ready to be switched over to bigger pots of in ground

buy you some neem oil then spray in early spring before the buds on peach tree open(FEB) that oil will stop the moth that is causing all you peach tbl if you have leaf curl and drop spray in sring to stop that use copper spray for leaves once you see these problems its too late by spraying early they want happen in the first place

Same thing happened to me with a Lowe’s bought peach tree. I first noticed a reddish purple jelly around the base of the trunk. It wasn’t present around any other trees in my yard and I asked a Lowe’s Garden center expert who didn’t know anything about it. If you gently shake the tree, weevils fly out. I believe infestations are being spread throughout the country this way. An unsuspecting home owner like me will not only waste money on a tree that will inevitably die but potentially infest an orchard near me with the newly introduced pests. Don’t buy Lowe’s fruit trees.

if you want to have fruit trees you have to spray with copper spray for fungus or neem oil for insects ---- depending on what type problem you have theres several other sprays available if you get another tree spray when you put it in soil always spray early in spring before blooms its a learning process to defeat these bugs good luck
