- A couple months ago...ok quite a few months ago...we got to spend a week with the Genesis GV70 Electrified...aaand it was awesome!
We were both surprised by how much we enjoyed both the aesthetics and the drive quality. The GV70 Electrified is a solid, premium EV and now we can't wait to spend some time in the GV60!
This 2023 GV70 Electrified:
⚡Starts at $66,450
⚡Has 236 miles of range
⚡429 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque
⚡Is only available in all wheel drive

Had a chance to give the GV70 a quick spin at the car show here in Calgary a few weeks back, and was impressed with it. Drove nice and build quality seemed really good. It's a very nice car. There are a lot of great options in EVs on the market now, which is exciting. The competition will, I think, drive down prices and deliver some great "value for money" as Patrick put it in this video.
Love you guys! Don’t have a Mach-E anymore, but I still follow you….so, let’s go!!!!!!!
Aw that's so sweet to hear 💙⚡ thanks for coming along for the ride Daniel! 💙 - Liv
As of April 2024,Genesis has a 13 month lease this month for the ELECTRIFIED models. Per Genesis offers website, Advanced trim of the gv70 Ev is 499/ month, 3999 down for 10k miles. 😮 I got 9500 cash back ("EV Lease Bonus") for the 13 months gv70 lease, now there is a 17500 cash back for the 36 month gv70 lease, cutting down another 100 LESS monthly compared to what I got.
The Gv60 advanced is 469, gv60 Rwd is 379 (same 3999 down) but only max 11000 EV Lease Bonus from Genesis.
.....OR ...
.... Wait 1 year and you can get 10 % increase in battery capacity and EV range without any increase in weight in the gv60, gv70 or IONIQ5.
looks great
Hey Luv! What’s your girls guide? I’m interested for sure
Thanks Jill! Here's my article on A Girls Guide agirlsguidetocars.com/genesis-electrified-gv70-stunner/
@@MachE_VLOG thank you! My phone changed Liv to Luv so sorry ❤️
The Napa leather is only on the seating area. The one you have is the Prestige trim vs the bases Advance trim.
24:56 I actually like to leave everyone behind me on purpose. 😂 It's that super quick acceleration that I like about EVs. I currently got an EV6 GT right now. I was considering this car but at the end I just didn't want to pay $75K for it as I would rather get the EV9 GT-line or MDX Type-S Advance at that price point. I got my GT for only $50K which is a steal imo. Hopefully they will make the E GV70 more sporty looking like it's ICE version.
Thanks for the info :) Ya leaving everyone in the dust is definitely a fun EV thing that we get to enjoy for now. Once more of us have EV's, there will just be a couple ICE vehicles chugging away behind all of us - Liv
it's a cool spot for the charge port but if you get hit in the front in a accident probably the car is going to be in the shop
Yep. I remember hearing somewhere about why the Mach-E and others choose the spot right behind the driver's front wheel. It was explained that it protects the charge port from damage in a fender bender. In other locations, even a small accident can mean you can't charge until it is repaired.
@@MachE_VLOG yep
Yay! Glad to see that you tested out a drivetrain like mine. I just with you'd post a review with my EV, as I think Liv would really appreciate the open floor layout in the Ioniq 5.
That might be the next car we review! - Liv
It looks really nice, but only 236 miles of range? Seems a bit pricey for the low range for me. I did go take a look at the GV60, but did not drive it, really like the looks of that too but I just can’t get past the low range for the price.
Ya I feel you. I'm still definitely curious to drive the GV60! - Liv
For those of us where it snows-the charge port on the front isn’t optimal.
oof good point! - Liv
No issues with mine over the winter
