It's weird being a track fan that these are two pretty huge names in the sport and I've never heard one commentator mention they are a couple...wow!
I like how Andre and Nia kept their relationship low key.
I knew Nia was a mother but I didnt know they were from Dre
@@Anzomax2 Everybody knew even the commentators they just don't talk about them when they are doing commentary they only talk about their performances they only have one child together
Me too, I had not known this or heard anything about them as a coupe. This is great though, hopefully they get more recognition. Congratulations to them both.

It’s great to be in a business and have your partner totally get it. That child could even be faster.
one love right, doesn’t matter if it’s a boy or girl, they both have it to be the best, hurdles or sprints, they can have pros teaching them IF they want to 😆.

@Wurst Fest ...that's true. It's not an automatic advancement to greater ability otherwise humans would be running as fast as cheetahs by now.
My mom and dad were both All American track stars. My mom ran 100 and 200 meter sprints/hurdles and the long jump. My dad was a long distance runner and pole vaulter. I did not want to follow in their footsteps so I never ran or played any sports in h.s. I joined the Army as soon as I graduated and we had to run miles and miles in basic training. It was literally like I ran all my life. I was ahead of everyone and barely got tired. I called cadence while running while most people needed to build up stamina to call cadence and run at a fast pace. They thought I was a machine but I knew my body was just physically built to run due to my parents genes.
Their child was born with a natural advantage and will most likely be a force to reckon with on the track. I wish this couple and every other couple continued success and happiness on and.off the tracks.
Congrats to Andre for winning his first Gold medal in Tokyo.
This would've been way more interesting if the interview focused more on how they met & their personal relationship outside of track

Why is the title about them being a couple, when he barely touches on it? He even refers to the birth of their child as the birth of her child - doesn’t mention Andre or ask him about being a father. If it wasn’t for the comments, I wouldn’t have been sure if the story was about a couple of fastest athletes vs a relationship. Not even a photo of them together. Could have intro them by saying two of the best in their sport, together for 5 years, recently expanded their family of three (Nia has a 7 (?) year old) with the birth of their first child together. Odd interview, could be he did address it but the editor sucked. It would have nice to learn more about them and the challenges of two top athletes with a newborn, schedules, injuries and supporting each other through the ups and downs of competition. Just my thoughts, yours are just as valid. Beautiful family. ❤️
