    I seriously don't understand how guys in bands like these can play a whole concert without immediately getting tendinitis.

    Cattle is proving to be a fine wine. Better with age and maturity.

    • @thebuttersqiud8912
      @thebuttersqiud8912 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Gospel969 Nah, to me AE showed a pretty heavy maturity in their sound. Everything just feels cleaner, and the brutalness is used more effectively with smaller portions rather than just all the time (even though the whole damn album is brutal). It's just like actual maturity; you learn to utilize your lower emotions like anger and such in healthier forms, and as a result, it produces a batter quality of life. Obviously this is personal assessment though, and I'm sure your reasons are just as valid. Cheers to Cattle Decap mate!

  • @elliotterodriguez

    this is what every band should do. they don't try to push their albums further. that it's become a formulaic process. sure the concept is different each album but you don't try to make the sound any different. I don't think most bands listen to their old stuff at all. To me The Anthropocene Extinction is a perfect album. Monolith Of Inhumanity was a great album it set the bar but this in my opinion raised it and is holding it there what I like about Cattle Decapitation is one album doesn't sound the same as the next.

    I love how they integrate the guitar tuned a step down with the very low bass going octaves lower. It adds a dynamic you do not get with guitars tuned below C and allows the guitar to cut through the mix much better.

    • @neilkennethofficial
      @neilkennethofficial ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@AVALARMusicOfficial Josh is in Eb standard and Derek (and Olivier after replacing him) is in 5-strings Drop G#. It gives the illusion of a downtuned guitar in some riffs. Same case with BTBAM with both Paul and Dustie in C# standard while Dan in Drop G# too.

    This song embodies everything great about this band. From the super high pitched screams that it seems Travis can hold for hours, to the deeper, harsher vocals, from the amazing riffs all over, to the drums practically slapping you across the face. But they can also be melodic. Love this song, love this album, love this band. I even have terrasite as my beat album of the year.

      A lot of the *actual* extreme metal genres make videos that are really tongue-in-cheek; less "hard" genres tend to take that at face value. Black metal doesn't take itself seriously (Immortal, Abbath, Belzebubs, Carach Angren, Dissection), but nu-metal and post-neo-death (looking at you, Arch Enemy) do.

    A lot of Black Metal chord stylistics in this one! I love how they incorporate so many genres into this one, almost undefinable by genre band.
