Thank you as always. I didn't know so well of what use the freeform tool was but that gives great inspiration. Analyzing filters and object sounds may result in interesting tones. I use a synthesizer guitar in my present project and send it through mamp and mcabinet, sounds so real. Have a nice Sunday
That's a great way to use it. It can really add some realism to synth guitars. I can also help change one guitar to make it sound like another. Have a great day.
Could you use this plug in to create guitar cab IR? Say I play my guitar through my real rig and then play my guitar through my helix minus a cab. Then I have it match. Wouldn’t that theoretically give me an IR of the mic and cab I used?
Yes and no. It is EQ, but it does have a time element. The resonances create phase differences which increase the length of an IR. If you export these as IRs you can clearly see and hear that there is a time element.
Which format do the exported IR's have? Can I use (or import) it in a normal stock convolution reverb like Reverence (Cubase) or Space Designer (Logic)?
Both plugins export normal wav files, so they should work in any convolution reverb. I don't have reverence or space designer, but I'm 99% sure it will work in both.

Yes that would work. I've tried it and gotten good results doing that.
Awesome!
Thanks
This works nicely but its not a time based IR right? its just like a normal EQ
Professional IRs have multiple filters for different samples

@@Chandlerguitar I bought it., tried it out (in Cubase) - and guess what: IT WORKS !!! This is pretty cool!!
Thank you for quick answering.
Do you have a promo code if I buy the eq so you get credit for it?
No I don't have one, just enjoy it and have fun with it. If you have any questions about it let me know.
Do we need a source to remove the resonances?
No, you can just smooth them out or manually remove them.
@@Chandlerguitar my plugin does not has the option remove resonancee it does not appear.
@@caravelasfarmer7595 Just use the smoothing parameter.
@@Chandlerguitar thank you
@@caravelasfarmer7595 No problem
