ye its like a totally different experance but thats why they should be getting driving lessons when u do xd tbf he was driving better than alot of people in the uk ahahah
Had my first driving test today and passed with just 3 minors! Watching these videos have helped so much in becoming a more aware and safe driver- thank you for these videos 😊
I saw a elderly lady struggling to reverse her big jeep . my heart ❤️ went out to her. I parked my car safely. I slowly guided her back in a very busy car park in the dark. the lady was so thankful with tears in her eyes. kindness and patience goes a long way. I understand as a slow learner. good road manners goes along
These videos help alot in understanding the common mistakes. I mostly watched your channel and one more channel of acorn school of training and learned alot and was driving on Intl license and on 2nd of Nov I passed my practical test in first attempt without any lessons and only do 4 minor mistakes. Thank You for your videos.
@@mydearmarket oh please, we have similar names but we're not the same person 😭 He deserves the compliment, please don't make it seem like it's a forced compliment (as if it's from him).
Hi Aman, learner here and love your videos, but I'm a little bit confused about the mini-roundabout at 11:00. I can't see any lane markings, and it seems to me that Abdul did the right thing and drove around the roundabout markings (ableit a little too sharply), the Peugeot behind drove straight across them which is why they needed to brake. Would appreciate some clarification on this, Thanks!
Imagine walking with your partner you are on the right and your partner is on the left and they decide to move right but you can't move right due to a wall. Then they trip you up. That's basically what happened
Approaching a mini-roundabout with two lanes available whereas the roundabout only offers straight and left exits. You got to be thinking use the right-hand lane on approach.
Well no surprises here... No lessons = another car crash, no pun intended. Faults aplenty, and what's he got against using both hands on the steering wheel!
@@lewis9275 What's a person like me exactly... Someone who wants to keep proper control of their vehicle at all times. If that's the case, yes, I do. Why risk the wheel slipping out your grip, going round a corners for instance, risk an accident. Anyway, driving one handed seems unnatural to me. The one hand thing, just seems to be more about posturing, maybe he thinks, oh I don't know... 'it look cool'. Some people watch too much tv/movies :)
These videos are extremely helpful and very interesting to watch! Thank you for making them Aman. Do you know of the Advanced Test and is this difficult? ❤
21:20 rule 192 isn’t backed up by any laws, it’s advisory, it says you should keep crossings completely clear, the problem is that he proceeded past the stop line while 2 vehicles were sat in the middle of the junction, he should have waited until only 1 car was in the middle of the junction and then proceeded forward, if you’re turning right at traffic lights and you go and make the third car in the middle of the junction you always risk getting stuck when the traffic starts to flow from side to side and you also risk getting stuck on the pedestrian crossing when the pedestrian gets a green man, if you wait until there’s only 1 car in the middle of the junction and then proceeded forward there’s absolutely nothing to worry about at all.
As someone with ADHD (DVLA aware) - could I get reasonable adjustments for the independent driving? I am just thinking it would be a lot harder for me to remember a series of instructions than the follow signs or satnav.
12:16 he should have waited behind the stop line until only 1 car was in the middle of the junction and then proceeded forwards, if you’re turning right but there’s already 2 cars in the middle of the junction, if you go and make the third car you always risk getting stuck in the middle of the junction if the traffic lights turn red and the traffic starts to flow from the sides (although they should wait behind the stop line until the traffic in the middle of the junction has cleared as a green traffic light means go if the way is safe and clear, it doesn’t just mean go, unlike what a lot of drivers think.)
I am watching these as i am thinking about lessons, that right turn only was strange,so if yr house was to to the left,u would have to go all the way around, why does it prevent left turn, safety ? one way street ?
As next Friday next week is Black Friday, has anyone brought DGN’s £30 driving shoes?😮 i have not, if i buy this i will let everyone know.😅 3:42 would this not count as a serious fault? Because examiner in moment say what to do. Uk driving test has too many rules and wants you to drive as a robot in a way. Good watch, thank you.
Using one hands on a steering can send a wrong impression to the examiner dat u gonna be very a careless in driver, the person is going to fail that test for little fault the examiner normally overlooked. You can hardly pass a UK driving test with one hand on the steering for that long.
Thats not true, is someone stops that is their choice. Its only a fail if he moves over and FORCES them to slow down as a result. They will even advise you to signal when it is busy so that someone will let you out
hi Aman! I wanted to know if using portable hookah's allowed. i know smoking 🚭 not allowed in a vehicle if passengers with you but never seen anything of hookah or shisha on DVLA website
You're right in India we can learn driving with husband like I did or with brother rarely with driving instructor and the road also are different from those in uk that's a quite different. In uk there's no pedestrian walking on the road but in India there's so many people walking on the road especially in city and town even though Indian drivers can drive with no pedestrian crossing or zebra crossing. Khublei, thankyou,
These videos are very entertaining and helpful but it irritates me the way you frown as if they should know better. It's a mock test? They're not doing it on purpose.
Who says anyone knows how to drive correctly! The whole driving instructor theme is a fake. Who says that the driving schools are more right than the students. After the driving instructor finishes with a student. They how they like like everyone else. That is called cheating in my opinion. You can not pick and choose when you want to things in life just to suit yourself. I have seen in a few countries. You may as well drive on your own. 😂🤣👍😊
That mock test should've been stopped around 8 mins in. Help the pupil to fix the mistakes he's made rather than letting the pupil flounder and the faults to snowball. This pupil is nowhere near ready to sit a mock test.
Several times road safety is compromised, yet the instructor just allowed it for the sake of her TH-cam channel reactions. She had an opportunity to give the pupil advise and coaching, but rather than do her job and help the learner achieve their goals she preferred to let them flounder, as it wouldn't give her content for her channel. The learner is paying for tuition to help him improve, here despite opportunities to help him, she ignored them in favour of likes and shares. @fortunefavoursthewriter
Aman, I passed my test today with only 1 minor, thank you for your videos. Honestly couldn't have done it without them!!!

i feel so bad for these overseas guys, it must be super hard learning to drive when youve already been driving in a diff country

everyone would've failed on that roundabout bit. Like how do you even tell it's 2 lanes till you're on it?

Generally one hand on steering and signalling before mirror checks...
I still watch these even after passing

Hi I love you videos keep going
Great videos, but for me the REALLY SCARY thing is the number of drivers coming from abroad who are just dangerous on British roads 😮
As someone with ADHD (DVLA aware) - could I get reasonable adjustments for the independent driving? I am just thinking it would be a lot harder for me to remember a series of instructions than the follow signs or satnav.
Is that clutch still working? He killed it!

that roundabout at 11:00 idk, the car behind was going through it , not around , how can it be a mistake on a learners side?..
How you managed to keep composure
Clear view instructor she’s so intelligent and critically observe and break it down for your understanding. Good stuff
Thank you so much 😊
I’ve only been driving a year (today) but I noticed he puts the clutch down every time he breaks?
you mean when he just slows down the car?
@ yeah
Do you not encourage your learners to have both hands on the steering wheel at all times apart from changing gear obviously?

Passenger princess 😌
Please pleae answer this question can we drive the car with only the one hand?
You should be driving with both hands on the steering wheel unless you're changing gears
The one hand driving is a NO NO, he’s too confident not knowing what he’s doing fully.
Does car fan affect fuel consumption?
I should say to an extremely limited extent unlike running air conditioning.
thanks
I'm assuming that the perfectly coordinated outfits was purely coincidental? 😅
Yeah haha, coincidental but very aesthetically pleasing
I know you can, but i do not agree with "palming" the steering wheel. It's just asking for trouble.
So right. I think it gives a bad impression too.
If youre a new driver, sure, but after a few years thats basically how you steer all the time.
Ten & two 😊
What was the worst test results you’ve ever had?

Why is only one hand on the steering wheel

He has a habit of signalling before POM routine - if someone stops to let him move off that will be a fail...

How come not stopping for pedestrians approaching a zebra crossing is a serious fault, even though its not required by law to stop?

This “pupil” is apparently an experienced driver.
@davejudith1 It appears to be a case of unexpected bad luck, sometimes such unusual events may occur.
It's not a lesson, it's a mock test. They're evaluating his skill and then can discuss lessons after and corrections after.
