You can route the Oillines above the Radiator, basically where a Stillen CAI would sit, this gives you a better angle with the Sandwich plate. If your Z is a 2012+ you can mount the Sandwich plate with the fitting facing 7 o-clock and if its earlier than 2012, 10 o-clock. Edit: The white Spacer you've shown at the end, is to create a Gap behind the Power steering Lines, so you can route the oillines behind there. Z1 has a manual on their website now if you browse to the cooler
I know this is gonna be a long shot but I got an oil cooler like this but 19 rows, from a private dealer for a really good price. My question is does anyone know where I can get the piece he's holding at 2:15? That's the only thing I'm missing.
Hey Any issues so far ? I just installed mine earlier today and the fittings that connect to the oil cooler core is leaking and the thermostatic plate didn’t seal tightly to the block
Ahh in AUD it was about $850 for the oil cooler kit, not sure about shipping cause I bought other things as well, I also had to pay import tax cause my total purchase was expensive and had to pay Australian sales tax hahaha. So my entire cart costed $2k usd (excluding import taxes)
I should’ve for sure, but had nothing to block those oem lines off at the time and I didn’t know what needed to come off hahah. Would make so much more space as well. Thank you!
Important tools needed;

That oil cooler looks cool
Hehe thank you! Love the look of it
might just have to get one now. awesome video
Definitely recommend an oil cooler hahah, thank you!
Also are you running a thermostatic sandwich plate? Otherwise your oil's gonna stay relatively cool?
Yeah I’ve got a thermostatic plate
Does the oil filter plate mount have a place for a aftermarket oil pressure sensor
Ooo that I’m not sure. I can’t remember
Did your engine jave a oem sandwhich plate with a cooler on it?
Yeah had that round thing on it but I am going to delete that and reroute the lines etc

You’ll probably be able to just get a 90° steel plate and drill the necessary holes for it

No issues as of yet. Were the threads damaged or maybe not tightened properly? Could be a number of things. What kit did you get?
How much does it cost including shipping cost?

Did you get rid of your power steering cooler?
Nah my power steering cooler is still there
why did you not remove the OEM oil cooler and run the lines using the OEM line mounts from the origonal cooler? Great video!!!
