So far this Bruticus is looking really great, (and the individual bots as well, which is always a nice plus when it comes to combiners) and I can't wait to see him when he is fully combined with the arm bots once they come out. If there was one thing I would say I wish was different about him however, it would probably be that I wish the shoulder cannons could flip down a little bit to be something akin to long range artillery cannons in combined mode, both because I think they stick just a *tiny bit* too far into the air for my liking and because giant shoulders cannons look cool in general. (and even then the thing with the shoulder cannons is just a minor nitpick at best)
If i had the money i would want these...i have always been a Bruticus fan...still need to acquire the RotF Bruticus Maximus set to combine with my initial releases of Explorer and Munitioner to have a complete Colossus (movie figure line Bruticus even though they are just repaints of the Energon figures) also have the official Hasbro Combiner Wars Combaticon set can't wait to see what they do with the hinted at PotP deluxe Blast Off figure (based on the Unite Warriors shuttle mold)
It reminds me somewhat of the Warbotron version of Onslaught. But how the combiner parts form a lil' bust instead of a weapons platform is cool...like a Digimental from Digimon Adventure 02 or a Spirit from Digimon Frontier.
so when its combiner time, they make up a voyager, honestly i prefer that and that makes a lot more sense even if the combine mode head, chest, crotch plate, hands and feet can't be tucked away in robot mode without being obvious, that's neat
Wow that Bruticus bust is so cool :D Also kinda funny that they brought out Onslaught before Vortex & Blast Off as I think it's more rewarding to bring in the torso last so there's no way to combine any of the units until you have them all.
I like that they didn't just shrink ray Warbotron, the fact that he's spun around from that configuration is nice. I don't, however, like how many extra parts this requires. Warbotron required it too which I didn't like, but not nearly as much. I do love how much they pull off in such a tiny package.
This was never intended to be related to Warbotron in any way, Iron Factory makes their own figures and these figures do follow Iron Factory's general design style.
We have Volcanicus now. Let us be free of The Beast, and move on to a future where the Dinobots know damn well they don't need to combine, but do so anyway because seeing the 'Cons flee in terror is funny.
ThatScraftyRemnant so, who's gonna fight predaking superion, defensor? What if skylynx doesnt make it in time? Then the dinobots must need to combine into Volcanicus, so they can fight predaking on equal ground
I really hope I can still find Brawl and Swindle by the time Blastoff and Vortex come out. When they do, could you do a comparison of the combined mode with DX9 Hulkie (Devastator)?
There is a part of me that like the parts forming idea for combiners and I part the likes where everything is on the designed on the figure. On this size parts forming all the way! Great review! So when is totally not Blastoff and not Vortex coming? So excited to see these five in final form!
I really like how they look, and I do like how they handled the size difference, buuuuuuut they kinda went overkill with the combiner kibble :( Still, the combined mode is shaping up very nicely!
if anyone is wondering what Set B looks like for this set tf-direct.com/iron-factory-if-ex23-war-giant-set-b_p1575.html check out the link and also I want this guy tf-direct.com/iron-factory-if-ex25-sword-of-defender_p1576.html
I'm not a real fan of limbs that don't transform to be a foot. I think the tank leg looks off balance when a shoe is just put on it. I guess that is why designator reigns supreme in my eyes.
I'm sorry but I would rather spend or save my money then to buy a transformer for $75 that's that small even though size doesn't matter it's how you use It but his combined may have me interested
For the love of primus how many bruticus figures must we have? how many does this make now!? By now we fans must be tired of him(Not the character but massive amounts of figures of the character)...right?
Then prepare your wallet's anus...for the plethora of Superion sets already on the way. From Zeta Toys to FansToys to that upsized CW one (forgot who did that)...
The Arcee is a clever pack-in, baking in being able to build a bust out of the combiner stuff is brilliant.

Oh I can't wait to see this entire set together! It's going to be awesome!!
An upscaled Bust would be such a cool display piece.
Peaugh where did you get that blue pencil object. The one you use for onslaught torso leg?

I wonder if they are going to release a Ruination/ Baldigus recolor of this.
how in gods name do you plug the blue shoulder bit into the head-chest-silver-bit for trailer mode?
Do you still have Lord Scorpion? I'd imagine he comes up to Bruticus waist height, right?
Wow that Bruticus bust is so cool :D
Also kinda funny that they brought out Onslaught before Vortex & Blast Off as I think it's more rewarding to bring in the torso last so there's no way to combine any of the units until you have them all.
I don't like it when there's no way to combine it until the end. It's a pain in the butt.
I like that they didn't just shrink ray Warbotron, the fact that he's spun around from that configuration is nice. I don't, however, like how many extra parts this requires. Can you compare this To Mech Fan Toys Devastator to see if they look the same? Im just wondering okay?....okay
Cant wait for mine, I ordered the whole set to ship at the same time to save on shipping.
If they make a computron, I will actually die.
Same!! Are there any current Computrons on the market?
@@czoom51 Maketoys and Warbottron both put one out, other than the Combiner Wars Hasbro and Takara versions that's it so far.
But then you wouldnt get to enjoy it?
Pretty spiffy bot!
It'd be cool if more 3rd party companies did their own fully original characters, though.
Wait, did you say DJD combiner??
That's like Overmegasixwave-levels of terrifying!
What about the Dinobot combiner that should not be mentioned?
We have Volcanicus now. Let us be free of The Beast, and move on to a future where the Dinobots know damn well they don't need to combine, but do so anyway because seeing the 'Cons flee in terror is funny.
ThatScraftyRemnant so, who's gonna fight predaking superion, defensor? What if skylynx doesnt make it in time? Then the dinobots must need to combine into Volcanicus, so they can fight predaking on equal ground
Most people can fight Predaking. Dude got taken down by Pointblank one time.
Do the skirt panels lift up? How far forwards/backwards can the legs go?
Love em in til all are one comics
I really hope I can still find Brawl and Swindle by the time Blastoff and Vortex come out. When they do, could you do a comparison of the combined mode with DX9 Hulkie (Devastator)?
Yep, I will compare the whole combined modes.
Apparently the Lambo Brothers can also become arms for Bruticus
If iron factory was to make this combiner wars sized this would be even cooler
It's weird thar they would include a 2ndary character along with Onslaught. 🤔 Onslaught looks good, regardless. Hope to see combined mode soon, too.
There is a part of me that like the parts forming idea for combiners and I part the likes where everything is on the designed on the figure. On this size parts forming all the way! Great review! So when is totally not Blastoff and not Vortex coming? So excited to see these five in final form!
They're supposed to be released this month (January)... I would imagine he will get the first shipment when they arrive.
Just checked TFSource and they are suppose to arrive in the first quarter, probably coming with "Steel Lucifer" and "Sword of the Guardian".
I bought Brawl and Swindle.
I'd like to have the full team, but they're overpriced.
I'll wait for the eventual MechFansToys versions. Paid $60 for their not-Devastator vs. $140 for the DX9 "Hulkie" version...
MFT has been doing KOs of DX9, though. I'm not sure if they've done any KOs of Iron Factory's stuff...yet.
They've done the Iron Factory Sixshot and Ultra Magnus already, so I'm hoping they do more. Won't hold my breath though.
Brandon Dorsey They did KOs of Iron Factory's Sixshot & Magnus?? Oh wow. Meanwhile, I wonder who did the KO of DX9 Hulkie...
then get a job -_-
I thought that bonus figure was a thing of it's own. I was gonna call her Iyu and have her work with the cons.
But anyway, great review as always.
I can”t wait
I really like how they look, and I do like how they handled the size difference, buuuuuuut they kinda went overkill with the combiner kibble :(
Still, the combined mode is shaping up very nicely!
Can they just sell the bust?
if anyone is wondering what Set B looks like for this set tf-direct.com/iron-factory-if-ex23-war-giant-set-b_p1575.html check out the link and also I want this guy tf-direct.com/iron-factory-if-ex25-sword-of-defender_p1576.html
Slytherin Reviews who's the 2nd one?
Sword of the Defender Dai Atlas more info on him over here tfwiki.net/wiki/Dai_Atlas_(Zone)
Not sure, but I think Arcee's giant sword thing is meant to be an exaggerated falchion.
*A* rmor Boar
*B* azooka Hound
*C* annon Chariot
*D*
*E*
Set B in my guess is called the Bombarders...
i love iron fcatory alot
I wish Onslaughts would be one piece instead of various parts and the feet.
#channoncariot
I want this. Bad.
So far so good
Who is this transformer?
Combaticon Onslaught
The blue one.
TheGamingGoku Yt It's mentioned in the first 30 seconds of the video.
No one caught peagh say Channon carriot?
Channon Cariot
0:25 My eyes are telling me this is a CGI render
This will probably the last things I buy from IF. I feel that their prices are a little high and immensely close to other 3p MP sized toys.
I'm not a real fan of limbs that don't transform to be a foot. I think the tank leg looks off balance when a shoe is just put on it. I guess that is why designator reigns supreme in my eyes.
He is a chariot without horses. No wonder the Decepticons always lose...
Am i the only one who wants to shout "spirit evolution" when i see the bruticus bust?
lol peaugh keeps trying to say Channing Tatum
I'm sorry but I would rather spend or save my money then to buy a transformer for $75 that's that small even though size doesn't matter it's how you use It but his combined may have me interested
Combines into tinicus
For the love of primus how many bruticus figures must we have? how many does this make now!? By now we fans must be tired of him(Not the character but massive amounts of figures of the character)...right?
WE NEED MORE BRUTICUS
I'm sure if you collect in Legends scale it's not too many...
Then prepare your wallet's anus...for the plethora of Superion sets already on the way. From Zeta Toys to FansToys to that upsized CW one (forgot who did that)...
Dogmaguy74 Dude, just pick the set you like the most and stick with that. No need to collect every version that comes along.
Nah
XD AX!? thats a greatsword silly XD
Wow but why .
"Channon cariot"
1st. What's up Peaugh
Anybody know where the fist store? Haha jk
That is very bad scale with devestator.. The reason for getting this is to scale with the legends class toys. Bummer
Devastator is made by DX9... All the Iron Factory figures size together very well.
that kibble trailer looks so bad
I wish that these were cartoon accurate :(
They need to make him as a auto bot ok
