What do you think of the Tudor BB Harrods? Now that prices have gone down? Would you consider getting one over one of the regular colors? Do you think they'll make an updated one? Let me know what you think in the comments section!
Congrats on ordering it and hope it arrives soon! It’s a great variation on a great watch, and for all we know it may not be transferred over to the new generation of Black Bays coming out so you may be about to receive the last of a dying breed. Enjoy it in good health and thanks for watching 😀
Have one and being wearing mostly everyday for the last 3 years, its wearing really well with minimal signs of wear n tear simply a great tool watch for daily use
I didn’t get deep into watches until 2020 just out of coincidence, no hype or influence behind why. Honestly, this is one of my favorite watches out there period. The humble yet very identifiable design, the earth tone green with gold to compliment. I personally don’t identify with Subs at all, but I do with this, & the fact that it can be had for 4-6k new is awesome. It’s a watch is like to own at some point this or next year.
I own one and bought at almost the top of the market and don’t regret it one bit. One of my favorites in my collection and I think it’ll be a sought after pc in the future
It’ll be interesting to see if this carry’s over to the next generation of Black Bay 41s, but my gut feeling is that it won’t so you’ve got something very special and likely to be discontinued soon. Thanks for watching 🙂
I'm hesitant to get one because I have a 6.75" wrist. I heard that four links on each side with faux rivets cannot be removed so if you have a smaller wrist, it's hard to center the clasp in the middle. Anyone with my wrist size have any problems fitting?
I own one, I love it, it comes with a great story (got the email after 11 months during the hight of Covid lockdowns, years before it was available online and had to figure out a way to have it picked up from Harrods being that we weren't allowed to travel at the time). It's a winner in my book and I obvi paid retail for it so no buyers remorse 👌
At the end of the day when it comes to Tudor Black Bays thats always the deal breaker, for me the regular Black Bay's proportions just make the cut - with the BB Chrono I had being just too thick, and its promising to see that they've made the regular Black Bay and the Chrono thinner since their introductions, but I can totally see how for some the proportions are still just off point.
I'd say a lot depends on whether the Harrods edition will carry over into the new generation of Black Bay. If not then I'd say this could see some moderate gains, though I doubt it'll get as high as its COVID-era peaks. If they do make a new version of it then I expect prices to stay stable on this. I doubt it has much more to fall, but don't see huge gains to be made either - so the current price level would at least be a safe place to get in on it - though idk if there's any massive gains on the horizon for it. But as always, I advocate buying a watch first and foremost because you like it - making some money when you sell it is just a nice to have :)

It has caught my eye last year but only became available for me to buy it now, so I literally just ordered it today. Cannot wait to receive it.

Gotta love stories like this, and I'm sure that'll be something that stays with you forever :) Enjoy it in good health!
own it, love it, wear it every day
🙌🏼
I own one and love it 👍🏻
my favourite thing by far is the bezel action on this thing - it's like an adult fidget toy haha
💯
Its a beautiful colorway. But i dont think it warrents the price difference between the normal BB58's. Still hope to snag one someday
Thankfully the price difference has gone down by a lot, gone are those crazy 6k+ days :)
I like it and would pick one up if I didn’t already have one with the burgundy bezel (which I happen to be wearing now, btw).
Oh nice, do you have one of the ETA based ones or the in-house movement one with the burgundy bezel?
I do like it but yeah the proportions just kill it for me!

Call Troy Santiago when he told Chris fox. Are you available online that thinks? One day it will see a rise in value!
Just announced on Harrods website....
Out of Stock. 😊
I guess the whole “prices more normal” line isn’t going to age well 😅
I can still add it to the shopping basket!?
Not out of stock never was, I have been following this watch daily.
Thoughts on this as an investment piece?

@@ShahLussoappreciate the thorough response
i like it but its just too big for my wrist.
Well with the 79230 generation Black Bays on their way out, maybe the next BB Harrods will be based on the Black Bay 58 :)
it is more the baby Kermit!
True, in many ways it's the spiritual successor to the Kermit moreso than the 126610LV
as with most tudors......they're so damn thick!
😅 true, but at least they’re slimming them down slowly with the new models 😀
