Just when I think I got this thing figured out it throws some new stuff at me. Easily the best synth I've ever bought. Spent probably 2000 hours on it already.

I am toying whether to pull the trigger on this having already got the Syntrx II which may already have these sounds covered. What attracts me is the spring reverb it has in the blue and grey versions. However, I much prefer the look of your black model despite not having the spring. Is it really too good to be true for such little money and worth getting for experimental sessions ? Thanks

They are not expensive. And lots of fun.

I like the orange and black one best too. which is odd because of the original 2600s orange/black is my least favourite. The coloured lights are cool I think. For me the 2600 was a must buy but I've wanted a real one forever. The added features of sync, extra waveforms/pwm on vco 3, and the lfo make it the obvious choice over the Korg. I do think the Korg sounds slightly better but I'm not sure why exactly. Haven't tried one myself.

@@Ian-gw2vx Nice! I've been considering a grey one myself. They are on for a decent price at the moment.

@@Bata9999 Yes they are. I got mine for £359. That's insanely cheap. I hardly have the space for it but hey! I look forward to patching it up to my Makenoise 0 Ctrl etc.
