You have my sincere thanks. Nintendo didn't even bother to share Gloom Hands' locations in the official guide book: a real pain for those who have to deal with anxiety every time these hands appear.
The best way to figure out where they spawn is to obtain the Sensor+ ability, then take a picture of the Phantom Ganon. * Taking a picture of the Gloom Hands won't do anything, as they don't have an entry in the Compendium.
Great video as always. 😊 Just like the Guardians from BOTW, it's so funny how they are terrifying at first but then we end up hunting them! I used to hoarde the savage Lynel bows from BOTW, but now it's all about those Demon King bows. They aren't multi-shot but they last a long time, and hit hard when your hearts are maxed out. Great late-game reward, for sure!
@@100PercentZelda For some reason I simply cannot comprehend, I seem to have a harder time with Lynels in ToTK. It really makes no sense because they're exactly the same, other than the headbutt attack and some of them have armor. But it's like my brain falls out when I'm playing that game compared to BoTW, where I can take them out pretty easily. 🤣
The hands do spawn they are just stubborn especially maze ones and daya village ruins ones but the Akkala fortresses one spawns every time i believe not too sure about the others but the ones that protects things like armor and fabrics always spawns
For those that are reluctant to spawn (like the one in Deya lake for instance), this is usually caused by one Gloom Spawn having two or three possible spawning locations. From my experience, Gloom Spawn that have this property will pick one of these spawning locations at random whenever the map gets loaded. So if you had already beaten the Gloom Spawn at either of the other locations maybe that's why it wouldn't spawn there. Or maybe you just got unlucky with the RNG, however I can confirm from experience that the Deya Lake Gloom Spawn can indeed spawn in that location. Another thing I'd like to mention is that the Gloom Spawns found in caves or the Depths don't seem to go away when you stall them. Finally, I would like to mention that while you can't add Gloom Spawn to the Hyrule Encyclopedia, you can add Phantom Ganon in there, and the Sheikah Sensor will react to Gloom Hands if you set it to detect Phantom Ganon!
A five shot savage lynel bow, attach a ruby or a topaz,, instant gloom hand kill 😋👊. Awesome video! I was missing two locations in the depths, one in gerudo and the other in korok forest
yeah, there was some gloom spawns that I had to save reload or fast travel multiple times until the respawned. also from the comments, looks like some of these were based on the treasure that was at some locations. so like if the treasure was opened, those spawns may not appear any more
I always have a sapphire fused to a magic rod on me so that I can deal with gloom hands by freezing them then shooting bomb arrows at them, rinse and repeat
How come you have to find them all? Do you get something for defeating them all? And does climbing high and letting the gloom hands disappear on their own count as defeating them? when i see gloom hands i run for my life, they are sooooo scary
Oh okay, you scared me i thought i was gonna have to fight them all to get 100 percent completion, so glad i can just run from them except for the one in the deku tree, i think i have to fight that one
@@100PercentZelda I think I wrote down the obscure ones that I found only after painstakingly searching zeldadungeon map. If I have that I will comment them here.
@@100PercentZelda To 100% the map, try these places. They were the last few that I found. 3 Sokkala bridges just south of Zora's domain (West Sokkala Bridge, Sokkala Bridge, and East Sokkaa Bridge). Gleeok Bridge northwest of the coluseum.
While they’re a great addition to the game the trade off between being destroyed by them like 20 times and the weapons/amo you waste vs the reward you get for defeating them is kinda not worth it…

Yay! my self compulsive completionists almost didn't want to finish the video because I couldn't get the last few Phantom ganons

@@LunarBloodRose27 bro I turned around and the hands were rising out of the damn ground.

YESSSSSSS!!! Imagine my joy at seeing this video this morning. Thank you, Nikko!
This was for you =)
My favorite way to get all gloom hands at once is to use a three-shot bow and fuse an elemental orb to it
That sounds like a great way
Or just buy a TON of bomb flowers and blow them up from a distance. 😊
Great video, thank you! Now I can destroy all
You're welcome!
Glad to know I’m not the only guy who enjoys straight up murdering these guys XD
There is more Gloom hands than I expected. Maybe I found half of them
Haha! Me too! When I was doing this I was so surprised
Lots of work put into this video 👍🏼.

Yeah, I tried looking there as well, even put the sensor to Phantom Ganon. Nothing.
I always keep at least 1 multiple shot bow with me so I can destroy the gloom hands with bomb flowers at a moment's notice.
Nice. Good idea

Hi Nikko!
Hello!
Most of the ones you said didn't spawn are connected to a chest. They only spawn once when you get the reward from the respective area.
Really? Thank you!
For me is phantom Ganon no problem, but gloom hands…
Gloom hands are annoying...

QUICK QUESTION ! Why does your master sword shine when it is sheathed?
Because your near gloom which is pure evil/darkness so the master sword powers up to fight them
I don’t want to find even ONE Alf them again, they too scary.
