I've driven both of the car's top model... And personality I experienced that, XUV 700 is very comfortable at low speeds city roads, but feels little risky on highways even in sports mode. Wheras it's exactly opposite in tata harrier, it's little stiff in city speeds, but gives amazing confidence on highways...
Harrier looks much better and waiting period on XUV is too long. Otherwise ofcourse XUV is better. Tata needs to fix that infotainment system asap. That's the biggest deal breaker right now

To all the people commenting, we have both cars in our extended family. Get the Harrier/Safari if you're a driving enthusiast. If you want ease of driving and care more about technology in a car (which is laughable), then go for the XUV 700. But tbh, if you are used to driving a Tata car and like the rugged nature of the car, you will surely be disappointed with the XUV 700. Reason being, xuv700 doesn't really feel like an SUV/big car while driving (light steering feedback, etc.) That being said, either car would get the job done for normal day to day tasks. But if you wanna go for an adven or something...then nothing beats the Harrier in this price range :)

Safari is better for highways and XUV is better for city. Driving dynamics at high speed is better in safari. Suspension is also better in safari. Gadzet and feature enthusiast should buy XUV and driving enthusiast should buy safari
I have Xuv and my uncle had Harrier , and as soon as he test drive my Xuv700, he sold that harrier and bought Xuv700 and he is loving it and he SUV lover since decades , so it’s just your shitty opinion at the end of the day, many people loves Xuv700 and say it is the best SUV in the range of 20-30L and many people even compare it to fortuner, so while saying your opinion , you just add it is your opinion, and that’s not fact , because the points you said were shit, Xuv700 got the best Off-road driving , Harrier is like some Hatchback car in off road

I have been driving the harrier automatic dark edition. It has a lot of minor issues like roof leakage, alignment, suspension wearing out within first 10000/- kms. Roof lamps not working. And to add to this is the miserable service provided by Tata wasan motors service centre’s in mumbai. Service experience is terribly pathetic and beyond imaginable. Only if you’re willing to ignore such minor issues and accept terrible service, you can choose the harrier.
Yeah ,tata is pathetic in terms of quality and servicing.Many users reported niggles like roof leaking,rattling noise even within one month of usage.The after sale service is damn pathetic
