I used this when I was working for BBC if it includes some other bits like the one we had it is very expensive, for 26 pound you can buy the same screw driver set from leyland and the other bits for 20 pounds from lay land much cheaper
I too would like to have such a happy montage where no one smokes and there is no loud music.
Hi, why do you put cable into hydraulic pipe? Don’t you have plastic ones?
Not driven a wood screw in by hand since I was an apprentice about 20 years ago.
We got a badass here
@freeaudiobooks7469 Not really, I just value my time and energy.
Hit the gym, pipsqueak
@@cartoonhead9222it's not about strength. It's about efficiency
Faule Socke.
Make sure you leave your mess for the painters to clean up.
Never clean up after electricians! Just leave their mess for the bosse to deal with
Crazy seeing someone else say this lmao
Painters are beneath me. Clean it up you dog
Like the painters leave their mess for the floor guy
Like the floor guys leave a mess for the day labors 😂
I never know what's going on in these videos but they are rather enjoyable to watch.
This how they make Spaghetti, my friend.
@@markusstewart9298 that's pretty much what I was thinking.
Someone buy this man a drill pls
Even an M12 adjustable torque screwdriver
I'm not an electrician by trade, but I would use a short drywall screw instead & attach it to a 2x4.
With this particular screwdriver, he doesn’t need to use a drill, and he doesn’t need to drive drywall screws into 2x4, when he can drive these screws more easily into the medium he’s using- sorry, I’m tired and I can’t remember if it’s pressed wood or particle board. Ah, the joys of being 74, with Fibrofog!!😱
He spent all his money on this Wera kit... 😭
Hurts my wrists just watching this, I'd rather walk back and forth to my truck for my driver 6 times than put screws in manually
Wow I wish that bush socket was around in my time.
I made one from a cut down socket set that worked for me.
As my dad did too
A real electrician fastens those by hitting them with a flat screw driver and hammer.
@H.A.. yep been there many a time good old days
@@H.A..his screw driver and linesman pliers.
I love WERA and KNIPEX .
My favorite Tools !!!
Greats from Bavarian / Germany ;-)
ever tried wiha? i think you would like them
@@gobblegoblin BUT WIHA SOUNDS LIKE YEHAA = COWBOY LOLO
I like to work with my Wiha tools
WITTE !
Pristine Lab Environment 😂
New construction not service installation
no kidding
I’ve been wanting that turbo Wera screwdriver!
I wanted it too and I got it, I used it once or twice in two years and regretted buying it.
It doesn't run as smoothly as I imagined!
@@samnass Aww really??
@@EpicBenjo Ive had one for a year or so. Due to the gearing it lacks torque unless the screws go in very easily. Broke pretty fast after dropping it a few times. I still have a Wera with the exchangable bits in my bag but i went back to using three normal wera screwdrives for the most common screws.
@@lone7874 Aww that’s disappointing. I also have regular non-turbo insulated Wera screw drivers.
منم میخام ولی چه فایده
I was always told not to put a hook on stranded wire. Shouldn't you use a crimp for your termination?
Very high chance that the strands come apart a bit and cause an arcing hazard so I was taught to always use crimps personally
I would think just the cable in on its own would be better than the doubling over but I'm assuming some would go as far as to crimp the end instead !
This is in The UK my guy, and it’s a screw terminal. Im in Canada we don’t put hooks on stranded either but our receptacles are much different
Great job. Different country. Different codes, different tools. Good on ya . If I ever visit.

@@Kawka1122 You thought this bear was alive?
NOPE!
Just Chuck Testa!
I still remember how hard I laughed when I saw his video the first time.
What a great example of electrical installation. Our Rick here is clearly a true electrician. So good to see quality workmanship. Like the Driver and Brocket too.
Love Wera screwdrivers. Been using mine at work for about 3 years now. Still goin strong. Don’t picture myself needing anything new for the foreseeable future
Wera makes such quality stuff
Those linesmans belong behind glass! They're beautiful!
That's the German standard type in the VDE-approved 1000V isolated version. I know at least WIha, Wera and Knipex make them.
Those aren't linesman's pliers, those are 7 1/4" Combination Pliers - 1000V Insulated.
Model is Knipex 03 06 180.
@@jotdee5265 Ah there we go. Thank you.
That no-cut looped termination is beautiful work👌
Loved watching this. You electricians are sure skilled
Would be great if we could actually see the product on show instead of a few second bursts of it!
There's a link above to the video which is slower.
This is probably the first time I’ve seen good tools in the hands of a decent tradie🎉
Back in my day we did pretty much everything with a set of Klein Lineman Pliers, a big Klein Flathead, a pair of 420 Channel Locks (insulation removed of coarse), a hack saw, and a phillips head screwdriver.
You still can work fast with those basic tools. A cordless small portaband saves time though
Wera TOOLS are KIKASS. I recently stumbled onto this brand from a Wind Energy company telling me about them. After borrowing his fir a day. I ordered the entire line of what we need in our shop ! Thanks Wera. German technology but made in Ceskolovinski!!
Wera and Wiha 😊
Here and there?
@@jjonnyboi1those are both the names of the quality tools brand
Wera, Knipex, and Wiha are always my go to. I have the Craftsman version of the mini ratchet and those things are a guaranteed lifesaver! I used mine religiously when working on submarines. I dig the screwdriver and may have to pick up that set now. My wife “thanks” 🤬 you for showing me this lmao
Shows what standardize tools for the trades and excellent work standers with quality workmanship , produce’s getting back to pride .
These videos make me wanna become an electrician
Wera gear is one of the few reasons I enjoy my work ✌️
Yuup, why not enjoy the task.
Got all my tools stolen off the job recently - on 1 hand it hurts - on the other good excuse to splash out on new hardware 🤟
Can we just do away with flat head screws at this point?
I do love Wera tools, though. Wish I could justify the price of them.
That's awesome! I can tell you're very experienced with using this tool set! Works great I see!
Wera and Knipex are awesome tools and are the insulated tools I use! I have reduced my Klein tools since I found Wera and Knipex. I’ve wired for 42 years and for electricians those three brands are the top dogs in my opinion anyway!
In Russia, it is forbidden to insert a wire into the terminal without first crimping it
Поддерживаю полностью. Единственное - это актуально для многопроволочных проводов
hmm ... that's surprising.
Also in Europe
@mijboogie not true at all
@@EgorchegRusWhy? How come it’s forbidden? I love that youtube has translated comments because i can understand what you’re saying
Listen I don’t care how good this is. I refuse to pay $150 + for a screwdriver. Husky, Kleins heck even Milwaukee… ratcheting ones are good and a 1/4 of the price
Good for you
then dont pay it... nobody's forcing you
They are insulated for 600v, which is why they are pricey. (At least my non turbo set is) Compare to Klein insulated tools, not much different.
Understandable, especially when another tradie will steal them in an instant if you take your eyes off of them.
Milwaukee makes a very good cheap multi-driver. The 11 in 1 driver is only $15 and the 13 in 1 is $18.
I think they're the best bang for your buck. The bits are much longer lasting than husky, craftsman, Klein, and others. Wera and Wiha bits are still better, but not by much. I can't justify using top-shelf tools at work. They "grow legs" way too easily.
Having these myself, The most time consuming part of using these is trying to shove them back into their slots in that soft case. 😂
I was trained to be an electrician. Now I’m a trucker. That looked like art.
Может надо обжать концы многожильного провода, прежде чем зажимать их винтом
I dont know about the rules in your country, but the use of ferules on stranded in mine is not optional
Class 2 conductors usually don’t use ferrules
Every time with the same comment. As said already, rigid stranded conductors do not require a ferrule.
In germany these parts and way of work are not legal. In our country legal and fine and standart work.
Different laws for work with electric systems.
And the reason is not the german 230 Volt AC. That is in germany absolute no problem for the electrician and the customer/user/children/adults.
@@krisedwards8063depend if the retention is just a screw a ferrule is better but if it 2 plate that close together with a screw no problem
There a chance to cut the wire if it's just a set screw
Acc VDE even in Germany exist no rule when you have to use ferules. It is optional. But should we use them on screw terminals with stranded cable? Always!
I do love my wera’s would like to have that locknut wrench too
I no longer have a need for that screwdriver set but I'll never get rid of it. Had it for about 5 years now.
I just lost that screwdriver set. Its great. And expensive. Dont lose yours.
Price of a drill?
@@tyjohnston5889it’s not expensive at all and a hell of a lot cheaper than a drill. You can get that exact kit for $72 usd.
More plier action than screwdriver action in this video. 😄
Good electrical work. Maybe more important than the tools 🛠️. I like the idea of bright red tools, which might be easier to keep track of. A ratchet screwdriver is a smart idea 🤓
I do the same thing. I always untape the head of wire. Cutting it just seems lazy, inefficient, and Der Der Der.
I should become an electrician. I really love attention to detail and making things very neat and clean even if you can’t see it.
Right now I do fiber optic out on roadways. We don’t do anything inside of the buildings. Just run the lines to them. We trench and tunnel boar tube and then pull the fiber through. We also have an aerial team but I’m on the underground team.
I work in aviation, and have a snap on and a Wera screwdriver set. Surprisingly I prefer the Wera set. They grip the screws better, the handle is nicer and they are holding up just as well. Both have the same warranty but the snap on is waayyyy easier to get warranty.
This is awesome but can manufacturers PLEASE stop using flathead screws‽
Its ok.. 2 handed faf. Stick a battery in that handle with those blades, £££ money maker
Aka the Wiha Speede?
as a computer cable network certified tech, any cables that are pulled we cut like 2' off because the strain on the cable as it's being pulled through the conduit can damage the wire.
Никаких наконечников! И всё работает!
Но недолго
using good tools is just a pleasure. I love spending money on tools, even if i just use em 1 time in my life i want them to feel good while using
I have this set, love it
Far to expensive and when it's worn out which won't be long even more expensive just get a pozi no2 and 5mm flat Stanley for a fiver each circuits dead so no worries 🤷🏻♂️
Gormless
Super cool demonstration of tools and technology
Bought the same set recently, wish Id of bought it ages ago instead of buying mid screwdriver sets , they are quality
beautiful tool kit❤❤❤
Little Rachet that drives in the chase nipple is badass
So pleasant to watch!
And those colours! Very original
Nice video, great wiring work.
I now want this set so badly but have no justification AT ALL for acquiring it. 😂
That socket for the nuts is pretty cool
One less spice with the ground like that 😮😮😮 my young journeyman mind is blownnn
ive got their 1/4 bit version of this thing. I use it for putting electronics back together. the speed gear reduces torque... you would have to try very, very hard to over-torque anything with this. the speed is just a bonus. I wish they would make a smaller one!
Madre mía! Yo siempre pensado q estados unidos estaba súper avanzado y viendo esos materiales de hace 60 años flipo
Just a tip, dont have the camera right up close to everything, especially if it's only gonna be on screen for half a second
Whats the socket thing he had? I absolutely need that!
impressive how little changed in electrical work in the us the past 40 years... i usually only see 3g or 5g copper wires (L N and Ground or L1 L2 L3 N and ground) and quick conectors around here
Looks like polish pre-ww2 electrician style. I found those bend and looped but not cut conductors in my old house. A bit of a show-off but works for decades.
I can do exactly the same job with some old rusty tools, so I’m confused as to what is so amazing on this video.
Nicely done So clean
All looks good on a bit of wood I wanna see you so this out side in the rain lol
The Wera Turbo Kraftform has an integrated gearbox, basically a normal direct-drive speed and one with a 4 times faster output speed than the speed with which you turn the handle (but only a quarter of the torque).
Please answer multi-core wire should be crimped with ferrules when clamped with a screw?
Depends on your local codes and the size of the wire, in general in the united states, no, you dont need them
I like the techniques used!!!
As a german electrician i cry.watching you
So much work for that little light switch
Having a trade is worth weight in gold.
Love my Wera screwdriver!! However... It doesn't get used much ever since I got the LTT one...
I like your funny wire colors, magic man
I love it in every way.
Been using WERA for about 11 years, but I found Knipex, Klein, BahcoFit 220.007 and ITL much stronger (they don't wear as fast as Wiha), pouch and hand friendly.
I still have the torque set from Wera and I use it just for boards.
Wiha, I tried once. Sloted screwdriver snaped in a week and made me gave up on them.
Good german tools. Simply the best
That took a long time!
Ever heard of power tools!
I like the way you did that jumper
The tool kits demonstrated on eFIXX makes me believe that the second hand market for the London double decker buses is dominated by sparks
1970's called and wanted their flathead screws back
Wait. We don’t use these wiring methods in The USA… anymore but 8 years ago I would have liked this video
Cool set!!!
Man just attacked every sparkie ever when he didnt cut the fish end
Well done
Fantastic kit I have a set
Tell me more about the locknut tool. I want to look into it.
If you're going to continually run the CPC please ensure plenty of cable left before the fold over. As an emergency electrician I've lost count of how many cpcs have been left short after breaking at that fold and now the CPC is left way to short.
Rick's Tool Time. Good job.
I own a couple of tools from Wera and Wiha but its non-VDE. Good Tools. ü
What are the partsnumber for the little ratchet? More specificly the head.
Brilliant stuff
Everything overseas is so heavy duty and better made when it comes to electrical lol. Our light switches would never let you fold up your wires like that. Solid ass connection.
Those are some nice lineman's pliers. That's all I'd care to buy out of these
Wow, cool screwdriver, I fell in love with it, how can I get one!?! I live in Istanbul
Cool, first time I've seen someone fold the end like that. Those screw termination points take two cables anyways so why not just fold it and use the maximum space
