Hi Walter. Love the content. I've watched all of your videos. Just a question about registering. Step 3, upload your companies constitution. I uploaded the pre made constitution when filling out my A1 form. Do I need to do it again somewhere or did they change the layout?. Thanks.

Hey man! Great video, Super information! Quick question though. When starting up do I need to get a company stamp ? Seeing this everywhere but I’m not sure what the craic is.
Hey man, if you are entering into legal agreements etc the stamp would be used in those cases. You might get away without one for a while they cost about 50 quid
Hi Walter. Would you be able to give some guidance on the Section 140 exemption for non EEA resident directors? I have a ltd company that owns two rental generating properties through an agent we appointed who is an irish resident to manage them. What are the chances of getting the exemption?
Hi, great vid, Im guessing that there is no way to bypass the physical address step, as I dont live in Ireland and am not sure how I would deal with giving a physical address, thanks
hello Dear, important question I live in Dubai, can I set up company without visit Ireland (gave the authority for some agency in Ireland) , and later after company live, I make resident permeant as an owner for my company.
Thank you for the video. I'm the sole trade and VAT payer already but I need to convert to a limited company - request from my agency. Until now I was doing my accounts myself. Do I register the same as you show on the video? Do I need another bank account or can I use the same?
Hello. I'm starting my CT1 form after 18 months period has finished. In my ROS there's a CT1 and RTD form for the 1st 6 month period which say "LATE". I filed the B1 form after 6 months. Did I have to file the other 2 aswell?
The CT1 operates on a different time scale. It cannot be longer than 12 months. So if your accounts are 18 months you could do one for 6 months and then the following 12 months to get it back in line with your financial accounts
Hello, I am live in Iran. Is it possible for me to register a limited liability company in Ireland and open a bank account and obtain a bank gateway without being present in Ireland? If the answer is yes, please introduce me to some reputable companies for registering a company. Thank you very much.
Authorised should be a really high number, the max shares you intend to ever issue in the future. The ordinary share capital is the actually share capital you created then at the start so you can just go with 100 and split that between whoever the shareholders are. This is the amount of money you will actually pay into thr company

Please do you have any recommendation/suggestions if there's more I need to do? Thank you and more power!
If you are a sole trader then its just a matter of registering the name with the CRO and then you can register for tax also when you start trading. As a sole trader you have a lot less legal requirements
It depends if you are setting up a limited liability partnership or just a regular one. A regular one is just like setting up as a sole trader, theres not much to it
@@walterdunphy294 sorry I'm back again, really really ast question. Our partnership bought objects to help with the production and delivery of our taxable goods. What form should our partnership fill out to reclaim the tax on our equipment? And is it possible to reclaim this before starting to ever trade
@@greenlightzone you'll have to register for VAT but you will be able to claim it back, but you will have to charge VAT on Sales you make also then and do regular VAT returns going forward after you register
Great video. Thanks for the information. Quick question - I submitted the form A1 and have received a certificate of incorporation, do I still need to register my business name using the RBN1 form you mention in your video?
i dont think you do,i think he's wrong on this one. RBN1 is for individual/ sole traders not for a company. I got really confused on this one , but as far as i understand you only need a form A1
It actually works out the same on capital gains at 33% for a company too if its held for investment but, there are different rules again if you are using it to pay suppliers etc

It's just for shareholders, anyone that owns more than 25% needs to be on the register
