From Australia- no mechanic or data base seems to know what the maximum boost should be on these FQ9 motors. I installed a boost gauge with a peak recall function after having to replace the turbo, it reaches 32psi. Do you know if it should get that high? Many thanks in advance.

Gday Tigernor. I’m still having issues with getting data on boost for my fq9 Grand Vitara. I borrowed a scan tool and drove it monitoring the live data. It shows it peaks at 248-253 kpa (36psi). Are able to check this with your scan tool or do you have a boost gauge. I’m seeking someone who can tell me what it should be. I’m certain it’s too high. I tested it in 4th gear each time. Note no warnings , issues, or limp mode occur either.
Forgot to ask, What voltage should there be??? I measure som 8-9 volts and have no action on The pump, have 3 pumps to try out and none of Them works with this low voltage

Hi, the sound comes from the egr valve when the ignition is on, think it must be from the engine on the egr valve, small beep sound. if it was the one you meant? And thanks for the great feedback.

Hi tigernor, I have the same error code but cleaning the plug and replacing the fuel flow actuator itself hasn't been successful. Have you got any other ideas as to what it might be? Still have 33,000ish kpa rail pressure when turning over

Typical causes for low fuel pressure include a dirty fuel filter, weak pump, incorrect tank venting, restricted fuel lines, a clogged pump inlet strainer and faulty electrical control.
