Microsoft did Update Office LTSC 2024 Preview to Office LTSC 2024 on 18 September and my Excel is now deactivated as unlicensed product. I did install Office LTSC 2024 Preview with free activation key provided from Microsoft on official website on 9 August successfully working until last used on 13 September. That product key does not work any longer. Any help please? Thank you.

it worked for one day. On the next day I've recieved a message on the office telling me you need to activate the product. So we came back to square 1
why did that happen bruh. even on my previous office ltsc 2021 pro plus. i had same error.
I dunno, maybe Microsoft has some hidden scripts that check ur office is genuine or not. Plus they are not that stupid to give the activation key on their website and to use their application for free.
the video you watched was advising only to how to install not how to activate.. there a other video how to activate the product

I switched over to Ubuntu from windows. Hence no issues like office key or windows key non geniune key issues. Windows 10 OS open close too slow and frequent hanging problem faced. Now ubuntu 24.04 LTS working well. One year back sgtarts to learn open office libre in ubuntu 22.04 OS installed and easy to work quick can do normal office activities in this platform. Everything available in open office similar to ms office.

@rehanali-s First you do that, see the full video. Second, see it again and simultaneously do the necessary steps as shown this video. You can face some difficulties to find the proper configuration file so, copy that the entire config.xml file and the PIDKEY for activation. [you can also use MS power toys for text extracting] and edit the necessary things as same that shown in the video. Third, be patient, and it will be done. Because it was the easiest way to download MS office instead of LTSC from Microsoft

Yeah .. all is nice .. just a tiny little problem .. after a few weeks your ms office will tell you that it's not activated and stops working .. as did mine .. guess there is no such thing as a FREE lunch :)))

I uninstalled Microsoft Office 2021 Pro Plus and followed your procedure to the exact detail. No matter what I do, when the installation is over, I still end up with Office 2021 Professional. Why? I went and entered the product key manually and that didn't change the version. I noticed that I am missing publisher from my office suite. 2021 Pro Plus has publisher. What's going on?
