Aways appreciate the kind support brother Avery and for the fact you recognize the extra effort it takes for these types of videos. About 4x the editing time than a bashing video and not as fun or flashy, but you know I love to support the community 😎👍 See ya round brother
Great brother.... Absolutely essential for the Mojave.... I honestly wish M2C did these for all the 6s rigs for peace of mind but MORE necessary on this Mojave. Glad you got somthing out of the video, hope your enjoying the channel 😎👍 See ya round brother
My M2c sure lock nuts always come loose (no locktite) but my stock ones never loosen. I’m gonna get this setup for the Kraton on my next M2c order and give em a shot
I have noticed with Sure Lock Nuts you have to tighten them down harder than Arrma ones, but once you do there not going anywhere. My experience anyway. Thanks for stopping by and dropping a line.... Hope your enjoying the channel See ya round brother
I wondered why the mojave had that issue... buddy of mine has one and kept losing his wheel nuts and cooked a wheel or two. He got the M2C hubs that you run screws through that hold a stripped wheel.
Yeah man it's a known issue, thought I would put a detailed video out on the issue and M2C fix😎👍 Super Appreciate the time and kind support, hope your enjoying the channel, see ya round brother
@@3SonsRC Hi. I want to purchase this for my Kraton 6S EXB I am finding the hex is twisting in the wheel center hex and eating the wheel. Once I purchase and install this and I am about to bash, I install the first nut...then next the second but you said add a little bit of blue loctite. Normally we wait 24hrs but will that still hold if I am about the bash immediately when adding the loctite? I ask it depends on how the location looks on which set of tires I will use at the site.
Another Awesome vid Brother Dennis 😜!!!! Fantastic explanation and walk through with this great M2C upgrade👌. Leave it to Mitch to solve the riddles and deliver effective solutions for our RC woes 😍. Hope you are well my friend. You know your priorities and what's most important. That's a blessing in itself. This vid, like many other 3 Son's RC clips, will be super helpful for others. The Mojave EXB is a Beast 👀. This info is perfect, especially for guys dropping in screamer systems. 🍻👍👍😎💪👊👊
Appreciate that my friend....yeah I always try to include plenty of tips and advice not just a basic review or install.... Thanks for noticing See ya round brother
I use Kinemaster paid version on my phone I edit. It's an android app, not sure on iPhone Thanks for your time and support brother, hope to see ya round
Just saying, I have the Typhon and Mojave and have not had any problems with the wheel nuts? Little dab of blue loctite, make sure they're good n tight and I've bashed hard broke many parts but to this day haven't lost a wheel nut. But cool upgrade I guess?
Pretty much a "known issue" based on design but for sure you may have not had issues, plenty don't, plenty do. For a while there I was laughing at most every test video of the Mojave as the tires were flying off. So I was sure to get the M2C solution on mine before I ran it, it's like insurance. Glad you have had no issues brother.... Thats awesome! In spite of no issues I really appreciate that you watched the video anyway.... Hope your enjoying the channel See ya round brother
@@3SonsRC heck yeah buddy. I know, I've watched the videos with wheel nuts flying off also. I guess maybe me knowing about the issues before I got em and putting the loctite and cranking em tight helped. So yes I appreciate you putting out videos. And enjoy watching yours! Thanks 👍
Sure do, must have for Mojave owners IMHO Peace of mind to just blast and now worry about it is important 😎👍 Thanks for coming by and dropping a line🙌 See ya round
Great videos and content. Question. Has there been any documented issue on the larger 8s platforms? Wouldn't blue locktite help with this? Just want to learn more about the cause. If the extensions are needed has this been missed by Arrma?
No issues on 8s hexes I have heard of. I know the Arrma 8s Pillow Ball Retainers are a known issue because they are one piece and that forced the Retainer to back out with vibration. The 6s ones were two parts as are the 8s M2C ones that stop the backing out issue. But the 8s hexes are fine, no extensions needed from what I have heard. Appreciate your time brother and hope your enjoying the channel See ya round
@@3SonsRC Hey, one more question. Will I need the 17mm prolines adapters with these hexes if I wanted to use the badlands or can I used just the hexes in the video?
Great question Dave and good to see ya I had to trim a bit but the pictures you see are after I trimmed.... It was a tiny bit. And they don't rub while running th truck. I basically fully compressed the chassis and saw a few spots where they barely touched so I cut it a bit. But this is only 1mm over stock and I honestly never ran the truck without the 2mm, so I might have had to trim a tiny a bit anyway 🤔 Thanks for your time and see ya round brother
in trying to get one of those set cause I have the mojave exb brand new i used two times and the rear wheels tires. ar gone i guees to much torque with the max5 esc and 1100kv motor hobbywing 🤦🏻 very disappointed with the hex in the mojave
There a must bro, I wouldn't run a Mojave without them. Max 5 is crazy bro😜😜, I have a Firma 160 and a 1580kv and she is bonkers🔥🔥🔥😎👍 Yours must be insane as well. Appreciate your time and comment brother, hope your enjoying the channel, see ya round bud
great video but as a professional mechanic I cringed and wanted to scream when you grabbed pliers, especially needlenose pliers, to hold the hex. I couldnt take my eyes off that and the jaw marks on the hex. As much as I dislike crescent wrenches it would have been a better option.
Thanks for the kind words. I understand brother on tool choice, not exactly the same amount of force applied so if your careful none or little marring is done... But I get it. But it's just a Toy 🤣🤣🤫 don't tell my wife that 😁 Hope your enjoying the channel brother, see ya round
The LSD's are tricky. Watch "DRRC Stunt" I think he has a video on it, I could discuss it here but you need to see it. I think he just dropped the video. Glad your enjoying 😎👍 Tip is you have to put all the gears, planitary and plates face down and only thing on crown gear when you close it should be the pin. Before closing it all needs to be flat and level in the bottom half all the gears pushed down into place. Hope that makes sence.... Just watch video... I'm sure I'm not making sense 🤣🤣
DUDE! you just keep getting better. I've gotta say your install videos are top notch and you put it down with the big airs too! thanks for all you do!

I've never lost my nuts😐.. seriously though😂. Tiny bit of blue loctite or some Teflon tape does the trick.
That's 😎 you have had luck with those work arounds.

What’s crazy is I have never lost a nut on my Mojave , no lock tight no nothing I just wrench em down tight as F .
Lucky man😄😄

Cannot watch your video with that music in background!
Ok
It needs belted fortresses lol mojave has to much power
i assume thats a type of tire?
Yes
I bought the m2c extended hubs so I can put some 2.8 17mm duratrax sixpack belted its so far holding up
I haven't had issues with stock and I go pretty fast, assuming there may be issed going 70 mph tho😳😱
Yes there's a problem with the rim touching the hub the carriers so it rubbs it till the rim falls off it happens sooner or later
Upgrade lol
