Against my techy family's advice I signed up for NordVPN...in the nick of time before the UK shut down a lot of speech. I am still very careful, even though I live in the US, but i feel more confident and secure now. Thank you for the advert some time ago, I have at last acted on it. I have also cleared out my 'sewing room' that was uninhabitable! You give the best advice!!! Thanks!
I feel like your father’s memory is being appreciated and admired by hundreds of thousands who never knew him in person but feel like they do in very special ways now! I love how you treasure your whole family, Stephanie.
Good idea but keep them at a limited number. eg 50. Once you start getting into large numbers it becomes more "mass produced" and loses the exclusive art feel
I have always appreciated that you kept your history private. Happy to learn what you choose to share, but equally happy for you to maintain an element of mystery about yourselves. As in real life.
Congrats to Philip! The new website is fresh and lovely.V clean design frames the items well and the "in situ" placement of the things for sale look v sumptuous and inviting.I'm sure it will be a big success.Just keep the sale items v edited.Creates demand for the exclusivity.Keep it tight! Free advice from an online marketing consultant.😅
I like the bit of gold leaf on the berry clusters, sort of mellows the shocking red. How nice your father kept your letters and notes; what a great reminder of childhood. He was an exceptional person.
I think Percy may have cracked it. Dinner and pudding in one bite! Excellent. The sacristy gates look amazing. All of the chapel looks beyond words. Well done Stephanie. 🙂
She has mentioned it several times in her first videos. That’s how those of us that have been here since around the beginning knew what Nick looked like.
@@bell4902 really? I only heard her speak of her former boyfriends in those videos--don't recall her ever disclosing that she was previously and very briefly married.
Stephanie mentioned it a number of times in the very early videos. I think it stopped being mentioned later as people knew….. and then as the channel blew up she left some things to stay in the past and be a little more private. It wasn’t a secret but you’d need to have watched pretty much every video from the beginning.
Seeing the restoration of the chapel gets me every time! It is so beautiful! I can’t believe how intricate all the designs are and how incredible the restorers are. It’s all absolutely magnificent! 🙌✨⛪️✨
Major revelation! Stephanie was married? Stunner! So happy the porcelain sales are going well. I would be hard pressed to part with anything! Also, extremely impressed by Stephanie’s de-cluttering skills. I need to emulate her sticktoitiveness. Well done!
What beautiful penmanship your father had. Just lovely. Also, what a joy to have so much of your fathers thoughts on paper and, of course, his precious art. You are blessed. 😊
I watched one video of clearing out while washing dust off my myriad knick knacks. It's very inspiring to keep going, and also to make sure what to keep should be worth keeping
I think a book of your fathers artwork and writing is a wonderful idea! What a beautiful way to honour his memory, especially as he was planning to release a book himself! And gosh, your mother looks so much like your grandmother. Strong (and beautiful) genes in your family! x
I agree! I am a compulsive buyer of porcelain on line and am very disappointed when items arrive broken because the packaging wasn’t secure enough. Some sellers know how to pack perfectly but it is a hard job.
Totally agree! You have to wrap it up in enough bubblewrap as if it were going to be used in a game of rugby, as that is exactly what the postal staff will do with your parcel!
I once had a department store send me a china sugar, tea and coffee set. The person that packed and sent it via post to me put it in an oversized box with a single piece of tissue paper around each object and that was it! When i picked it up from the Post office all I could hear was everything rolling round and rattling together inside. Honestly 😅
Your Mummy’s little play fit was so cute. I am sure if she wanted to do something she will anyway. Your Dad had a big heart to keep all your drawings and writings.
Stephanie, you have only gotten more delightful to watch as time rolls on. Your sweet and generous spirit is so uplifting. Thank you for your commitment to regularly producing such a high standard video. ❤
Stephanie, just read nearly all of the lovely comments below. I totally agree with each and every one of them. Thanks very much for the smiles and knowledge you bring.
Your online store is fabulous! Your followers just adore you and Phillip. I’m sure you will continue to sell out not only because the items are so remarkably beautiful but it’s a piece of Lalonde memorabilia that has actually been a part of your lives. Great success!
Opening the new website Phillip created was really beautiful. A bit like an auction, be quick or loose out. I think its fun and serves a function with the end result hopefully contributing to the terrace and restoration of the facade of La Lande.
Yes, you should definitely make a book of your father’s art and writings. Perfect tribute to him and a bonus for us. You can advertise/sell it on your new website shop.
I’m glad to see in the comments that I’m not the only one who didn’t know you’ve been married before, I’ve watched your vlogs from day one… 😅 Thank you so much for all the joy! 🫶💞🫶
Your father had a wonderfully deep, yet simple, straightforward view of life. I love what you read out of his thoughts. And, yes, his sketches have a light, effortless freedom about them which is so engaging. Thank you for showing them to us.
Stephanie, 👏🏼 for doing tidying up in the hottest weather and retaining a brilliant sense of of humour and plenty of British irony , you have inspired me to tackle the attic …chapeau 👒!
Congratulations on the website and the clever new business of selling beautiful table settings! Keep it up! I love seeing Stephanie’s dad’s sketches and notes. It’s fun to get to know him through his artwork and thoughts.
I love it that you had breakfast delivered to your bedroom. I am thrilled for you both that the selling of surplus plates etc is going well. Your dads words of wisdom are so thought provoking. The gilding in the Chapel is so eye catching. Another captivating video
May I suggest a peacock perch for them to roost on. It may encourage them not to be on the table. Maybe put some blackberries by it for them to have their own little garden, could be engaging for them ❤
Philip congratulations on the shop it is magnificent and such beautiful things ! It is perfect for you and I am so happy for you ! It definitely is your true Niche x
I suggest Philip do a video series on his thought process when he decorates his tables. He could do a video for different seasons and occasions. My tables are never as beautiful as his.
Phillip, I just visited your online shop! It's absolutely beautiful from the cover photo to the sale items ...the photo's are stunning! So happy for your success selling out the first day! Well done, you should be so proud of yourself! Bravo!
Cleaning the attic has been such a blessing. Finding photos and lost memories. I think it has been a blessing during such a loss. I had a similar experience when I cleaned my attic during covid. I cried, laughed and found treasures. What a beautiful bride!
Steph. You need to sell print versions of your dad’s art work. I love his style and would be willing to buy prints. It would another great way to raise money for the chateau renovation.
Your father was an intelligent and creative man! And knowing Isabelle, there is no wonder you turned out the way you did, fun, intelligent, extremely positive person!!!❤😊
I can’t believe it. I have the exact same sewing machine cabinet. Who would have thought I’d have something you own too? My hydraulics still work though. What a small world.
your online shop is better than a garage sale ! everything is magnificent about this vlog. ❤❤❤ your father was a magnificent, beautiful artist. Stephanie, did you love smurfs as much as i have ??? i've always been obsessed with them and collected them as a kid ! still today, i have some smurf items amongst all my stuff.
I'm so glad Philip has caught the re-selling bug. His taste is exquisite and it is no surprise his items are flying out the door. I do what he does here in Norway, but only as a hobby and only occasionally. I inherited quite a bit of stuff from my in-laws and then I had a physical shop in a touristy part of town, but closed it down quite a few years ago. I still go off to the odd flea market, estate sale and look for things that need saving and I'll even spend some time mending the handcrafted pieces so that they can be re-homed and displayed proudly. I wish you luck with your shipping, because that is always the scariest part for me: leaving the items in the hands of the postal gods. So far, so good, but I seldom post porcelain or glassware. I've been using empty Pringles cans as supports inside the boxes to give them more strength in case they end up under something heavy. Best of luck!
and she drops it in as if it's old news... She truly did look beautiful. Interesting past tho'. Lived with Michael and Nick in the same apartment, had relationships with each , ends up co-owners of the chateau. Now Philip speaks of the chateau as if he owns shares and potentially could without a pre-nup. Stephanies an amazing lady Co habitating with all these men of relationships and it appears to be so copasetic. Go Stephanie, in her own little Bridgerton
Hi Stephanie, your sewing table looks exactly the same model as mine. If it is a Horn one, you should be able to get the hydraulics replaced. They do sell spare parts. Keep up the amazing work you do. X😊
As one of the followers is saying, you should do a book about your father painting and sketching. I am having a Giacometti book which I am frequently using to improve my drawing. The book is on a page showing the final painting and on the opposite page, the sketches which support part of the painting. Looking at sketches help enormously to fine-tune your drawing. By the way, Percy: pain au Chocolat should remain as it is. One day, he will be adding marmite to it for pushing us into a deep gastronomic coma😂😂😂😂
Your father’s sketches and notes are wonderful. What a treasure. ❤Edited to add, you might consider a room dedicated to him, using his sketches and frame some of his notes…pics, all the things he loved. Thank you for sharing with all of us.
Really well done Phillip on the online shop it’s really beautiful unfortunately I was to slow for the first amount of items ,I’m sure it will be a great success,Stephanie well done for finishing the loft I’m sure you feel all the better for doing it love to you ❤❤.
Wish you could ship to Australia, so love everything. I agree with Stephanie, everything tastes better on beautiful dinner plates , lovely cutlery wine glasses. Your Dad sounds like an amazing man, I have always adored your father’s paintings around the Chalet, they are so different, which is what I love. Have a beautiful day. ❤
Stephanie, i too am going through the family memories. The video tape can be digitized. The video files can be kept on something as simple as a USB drive or as 21st century as a media server that any smart TV on the château's network could access. This can also include photographs and music. When i digitized my parents 8mm home movies i built 5 media servers to give to my parents grandchildrens households. It isn't that expensive considering the flexibility and disaster recovery preservation.
We've been enjoying your vlog for about six months now and now hooked! We are wondering how you are related to Gerry he is adorable like your family and extended family! xoxo
Gerry « adopted » Isabelle and her husband before Stéphanie was born. He became a sort of older brother to Stephanie. They have no blood link. As far as I understood Gerry’s mother used to work for Stephanie ‘s parents in Glasgow and they became a second family for Gerry.

It is impossible not to love Percy. What a star!
Is it possible to find a young man photo of Percy?? With his mischievous blue eyes he still is quite the looker. We already know Mummy is a Stunner. ❤
What a lucky, chance meeting with Isabelle on the plane... Percy is a wonderful asset to the videos! 🦘
I feel like your father’s memory is being appreciated and admired by hundreds of thousands who never knew him in person but feel like they do in very special ways now! I love how you treasure your whole family, Stephanie.
It is very clear your Father absolutely adored his daughter ❤❤❤
Stephanie, you should make numbered prints of your father's sketches and use the revenue to help fund the renovations of the chateau.
Wonderful idea!
I will buy one !
Good idea but keep them at a limited number. eg 50. Once you start getting into large numbers it becomes more "mass produced" and loses the exclusive art feel
yes! Sell like hotcakes, easy to post.
From Australia this is a good idea but the run would need to be bigger with 500,000 followers.
I can’t believe how much your mama looks like her mama, that’s so cute❤
And you look like your Maman
"Nic's" Marie adds so much to yesterday and todays vlogs

Stephanie you have a big bold spirit that's gentle at the same time. Please know that you and your contents do make this world so beautiful.
Stephanie your mom and grandma are absolutely twins ❤
Percy has such blue eyes! Wonderful
I was thinking the same thing
I like the bit of gold leaf on the berry clusters, sort of mellows the shocking red. How nice your father kept your letters and notes; what a great reminder of childhood. He was an exceptional person.
The book idea about your dad’s art is an amazing one
What a great idea getting the fans. The website for the dishes is beautiful, congrats on selling out.
Stephanie is adorable and beautiful. I could have a bad day, I watch Chateau D, and my entire disposition is just happiness.
your father sounds like he was a very wise man
Congratulations Philip the shop is a triumph.
I think Percy may have cracked it. Dinner and pudding in one bite! Excellent. The sacristy gates look amazing. All of the chapel looks beyond words. Well done Stephanie. 🙂
Ideas :
Little glass trinket tubes of the gold leaf scraps! Sell little tubes for a hanging necklace. Pay for the new terrace!
Brilliant!
I didn't realize you were married before. I have been watching for years.
gregory francis mannion clark. She was married to him at the age of 22 or 23, it only lasted for 18 months.

Stephanie, 6iu have motivated me to clear out the clutter. Your father's poetry about clearing is brilliant
Seeing the restoration of the chapel gets me every time! It is so beautiful! I can’t believe how intricate all the designs are and how incredible the restorers are. It’s all absolutely magnificent! 🙌✨⛪️✨
Your father was with you then and will be looking over you now 🤍🕊️🫶🏻
Our fathers’ art and writing is so similar. True artists in everything they did.
Stephanie, your grandmother is seeing the chapel renovations. 💝
What a find Stephanie. What a talent your dad was❤
The chapel is an enormous achievement.

Seeing that last letter was from 1983, makes me feel so old as I was in college in 1983.
So glad you got those fans. I am clearing my crafts and today I did 3 drawers. I am donating the crafts to a middle school art teacher
I think a book of your fathers artwork and writing is a wonderful idea! What a beautiful way to honour his memory, especially as he was planning to release a book himself! And gosh, your mother looks so much like your grandmother. Strong (and beautiful) genes in your family! x
We were antiques dealers for 18 years and shipping porcelain was a total nightmare. Use far more packaging than you think it needs.
