With a GPS module and WiFi antenna, can I stick it under the glove compartment so that the items on the right are not affected? Or can I put it right next to the head-unit? I don't want to stick it on the windshield.
GPS antenna must be placed in a place without metal obstacles, because it has to receive satellite signals , WIFI antenna can be placed in the location you described.
@@pempcar Can I place the GPS module and WiFi antenna directly beneath the grille of the center speaker, behind the screen? Will it affect the speaker or the GPS/WiFi signal? I don't want to run wires around the front windshield.
@@isalighting It is recommended that you place them in a location without any metal coverings. This way the signal strength will not be affected.

You are right, it works just like the original car screen. But because the original screen is 7", the original interface will be enlarged. The aspect ratio is also different. Guys my factory head unit is stuck in reboot loop and lines on screen can I fit this or does my main head unit still need to be replaced ?

Everything seems to work except I get no sound I have to use the sound from the Mercedes and it is always a few seconds behind how do I get the sound to work with the new screen
Yes, this is because the android sound comes in from the OEM USB, you need to use a separate amp box for android to achieve it without delay.

@@Devynderrickleejohns Dear, you must connect the AUDIO usb BOX to the USB port of your armrest box. Please check the installation content starting at 24:30 of the video. Then every time before you enter Android, select the USB mode in the OEM interface.
@@pempcar One last question I did a factory reset on it because I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t get any sound after I did that when I try to connect a CarPlay it says zhijian activation app to scan QR code how do I get CarPlay back I’m not sure also are there any other settings that I need to adjust back after that factory reset?

The original touchpad only worked in the OEM interface. It does not work in the Android interface.

1. If you check that the wiring harness of the knob is connected correctly, you can check if the CAN PROTOCOL setting is correct, Settings>factory>pass word 190627>can protocol>pls select NTG5.0(0 or 1)

@@arandomstranger99 If you buy a YeeHung Android screen and manual transmission, you need to select manual in the settings, otherwise the reversing camera will not work.
