- Mix recorded on a Model 1 by PLAYdifferently + Launchpad Pro MK3 + Xone K2.
Software used: Traktor Pro 3 and Bitwig.
As always, I'm trying and trying and trying my best to record as good as possible, but after these years, there is always some sneaky and gnarly mistakes crawl into live mixing process (this time - in the mediocre tracks form). 😡
I am proud that the track list is not in the particular order. 😎

Super cool, I Love it! ❤
@@JustTEKKNO thank you for the positive comment!
From one Model 1 player to another, this is a great mix! Congrats on 500 subs, brother!
Thank You! 🥰 It's nice to meet another one Model1 user on the wild! Actually I see you have two mixers?!? 😮 And Antelope Orion??!! OK, now I'm envy! 😅
Nice one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank You!!! 🖤🖤🖤
Awesome. ❤
Thank You for support!
Great stuff Iso! 🥳
Thanks man! How's wheatear in Spain? 😎
🔥🔥
Great mix! Are you stem mixing? Curious how you got the granular control over affecting certain parts of the tracks. I know the Model1 allows for lots of control, but it just seems like you have more control than I see with just normal track to track mixing.
Hi!
Thanks for the support!
Now back to Your question. I'm using 4 decks in Traktor without STEMS. Just plain 4 tracks, effects and percussion.
And You are right, Model1 gives the ability to cut/boost the part of the track from the specific frequencies (with low pass and high pass filters named contour) and muffle it or accentuate with a parametric EQ part. This semi parametric EQ (it has fixed Q) gives a flexibility to cut/boost frequencies You need. You can literally sweep frequencies with it just like a band pass filter. This is the main difference from the fixed H/M/L filters on other mixers.
Very similar to Richie Hawtin's playing style
@@petiokamburow7086 actually it is exactly the same setup and even the same Bitwig project Richie Hawtin is using (just a few custom things I added from my side). 😊 And Mr. Hawtin is is my biggest inspiration to try DJ'ing as he does.
But what audio interface did you use because if you don't have the Apollo it's useless to sue
What's an interesting point of view. 🤗Why do You think so?
Actually for now I'm using the cheapest audio interface on the market - Behringer UMC1820. Because I think the 5 times price difference between Apollo and UMC is not worth for me. At this moment in life. But Yes, I would be lying if I said that I don't dream about Antelope Orion. 😆
Hallo May friend smash techno good introduction
It’s you music ?
Hello my friend! :)
Nope, this is tracks from other creators. I have added full track list in video description!
Would you please, help me how to set DLY CLK to 1 / 12th note or 1 / 96th note?! I miss those options even while I keep the SHIFT key pressed.
Hi!
I'm making assumption You are using version 2 of the plugin? Just change how it shows the plugin digits in the plugin options:
mega.nz/file/8oIBlaDb#_EPDBsKhCmCkd0eGbIaoPrnpx4FMaRFfvw6Ucw5EEwo
Because in the version 2 app it shows these values as a music style notes internally. 😬

Moin moin ...) very very NICE ..! Question: where can I get your K 2 mapping? Can you send this to me..THANK YOU...)))🙏
Hi!
Now I'm at work. I will send You the link to the updated TSI files in the evening. 😊
Hi again!
Here is both configs for K2 (A, B and C, D): mega.nz/folder/Qg5ASLbA#1a6s5Gzk67ReN0lSCooSsQ
They are mapped on MIDI channels 14 and 15. Left shift buttons swaps between main controls (play, load, unload) and CUE controls.
Hidden controls is:
- You can't unload track if the deck is playing (orange button above the green PLAY button);
- To clone the loaded/playing deck - set focus to an any empty deck with the simple rotation of lower encoders (set focus/destination) and press the UNLOAD button FROM THE LOADED deck (source). The track will be duplicated to the last deck You have moved the encoder from (set focus);
- CUE/PLAY button is the lower corner buttons;
- NUDGE (upper two buttons) works only if sync is disabled;
- LEFT and RIGHT middle buttons are for JUMP BACK and FORWARD between CUE points (RIGHT SHIFT + BACK, will jump to the first CUE/GRID RULLER point);
RIGHT SHIFT button:
- lower encoders with RIGHT SHIFT will scroll faster;
- upper middle encoders with RIGHT SHIFT will move the loop region or move via track - "beat jump" (without shift, they will change loop size, move and will disable/enable loop);
- upper RIGHT encoder + hold RIGHT SHIFT will change BPM;
- upper LEFT encoder controls browser, opens or close folder in the browser;
Keep in mind, some controls (few buttons, faders and so on) are mapped to BITWIG, not Traktor.
Would it be possible to share you whole digital setup, not only the mappings? 😅
@@Sanny.V Whole setup is actually not so complicated. :)
Lenovo Ideapad laptop with Traktor and Bitwig applications.
Two units of Xone K2 and one Novation Launchpad Pro MK3
Doremidi MPC-10 expression pedal to MIDI converter used with a cheap M-Audio pedal.
