I've tried making live techno with hardware synths, modular etc.. let me tell you these people make it look easy but that's because they're absolute masters, nothing less!
this is so inspiring, damn. even though the sounds are quite minimalist, its so atmospheric. and even though the genre is very much recognizable, it still sounds so exotic.. I think this collective is pioneering a new age of techno live-experience.

Goddamn this is one of the most glorious fucking sets my tender ears have had the pleasure of marinating in for quite some time. Layered, intelligent, pseudo-scientific and even chalk full of Vitamin A and riboflavin! Speedy J deserves a fucking statue erected in his honor. The energy and fluidity of this collab brought morning dew to my eyes. Techno is life!
How Stoor hasn't a million subscribers!? Some of the best dark and deep techno I have ever heard. On high rotation to get me through the mundanity of modern life!

This is amazing! Not a boring moment for 3.5 hours. Would be interested to hear how much of it you plan before the set, i.e. does everyone get a particular task, such as bass line, kick, percussion, stabs, blips, effects, atmosphere etc? Or is it all on the spot and everyone adds whatever they feel is right in the moment? All the transitions sound so natural and clean!

There's no division of roles in pretty much all of these jams which means a type of sound could be from one artist and the next of the same type from another and it's often a combination of several machines, artists or both!

@@gnutscha I’m not in disagreement. It’s all about the music they have made and the synergy amongst speedy j, starlight and røhäd first hand. I do listen to knob twiddlers for process conversations, but am always curious about equipment watching these sessions.

all you have to do is practice, practice, practice ...if is still not ok it means you didn't practice enough.
It's not that hard to make things on the fly, it's hard to make music that people want to listen to.
