I am facing a hard gear shift problem with my XUV 300, especially shifting to 1st gear when the vehicle comes to halt or slows down near slopes. In other vehicles we can easily shift to 1st gear, and attain the pick up vehicle required. Are you also experiencing the same. Please comment Brother

Yes I also face the same. I guess it happens with all the cars on the downhills.

@@turbonaman service person replied, mentioning it all happens as per idle speed. If we are below 20kmph it will shift to gear 1. But certain situations arise where we need to shift to 1st gear to move vehicle ahead. Don't know how this is designed.

You can use 1st gear only when speed is almost zero , that's how the gear is designed, it's not an issue

I also suffer the same..First gear is hard also stuck sometimes

I was also facing the same issue..... During my second service I rase this point ☝️
They drove the car and told me all gears are perfect
And suggest me to shift second gear to first blow speed 5kmph
This method really helped
