Instead of Death's Shadow, have you considered using Faithless Looting and Vengevine? Turn 1 Pelt Collector Turn 2 Burning Tree, trigger Pelt Collector, into Faithless Looting, pitch Vengevine, into another 1 drop, trigger Vengevine, trigger Pelt Collector, swing 7 (or more depending if you had 2 Vengevine in the yard)
I don't think you know that the coding for arena and mtgo are basically the same, so these bugs would persist to MTGA too. Also they are both handled by 2 different teams entirely, so if anything your team is letting the game break because they know it's outdated.
MTGO is written by C# and MTGA is written on Unity Engine. They are pretty similar, but the coding is different in many parts I think. I might be wrong.
For what it's worth, this exact bug has been occurring since before Arena was a thing. A few friends and I had this happen during a Legacy league six months or so ago.

That bug with Claim // Fame reminds me of how on Arena, cards you can cast from your graveyard show up next to your hand. Could be somebody messed up and ported the code over. Loving that, since this deck seems to be legit, you've now effectively created 3 meta decks for Modern.

It is so cool so have witness you create the affinity hardened scales deck that is not Top 8'ing GPs and cemented itself as a legit top tier deck that began with ur brew. This might be the next one yet. We might be watching the making of yet another top tier deck.
I have an idea for this deck. You could sideboard 'as foretold' and 'living end' and just randomly bring them in if they have lots of 1for1 removal. You got a bunch of creatures hitting the bin, vexing devil, street wraiths, death shadows, ingot chewers and critters dying. Nobody will expect the random living end haha
Coming back to this makes me so incredibly sad. This was a great, yet very niche deck that took a lot of skill to pilot correctly and won me a good number of local tournaments and Magicfest Side-Events. Before Modern was left to rot in the gutter. I really hope they give us a functional reprint of Vexing Devil for Pioneer at one point.

Hey magic aids, what do you think about replacing the claim to fame with a postmortem lunge? Can help sink your life total and can bring back a hasty DS or vexing devil or nacatl for an instant bolt if nothing else.
I tried this deck at a big event. An IQ that was almost as big as a modern sgc open. I went 4-4. But I noticed that I kept losing really badly to burn and dredge. I also lost to affinity real hard. The match ups I beat were storm, blue white control, simic control, and jund(of course being the hardest of the match ups I beat).
Magic Aids, if you have the time, could you please try a NAYA build? I once builded a boros, with Proclamation of Rebirth.. But I used Spark Elemental, Goblin Guide and Hellspark Elemental.. with faithless looting =) Thx
@@MagicAids Sweet! wasn't expecting you to answer here, I only have a rather simple deck list but, it's pretty damn quick and can win games out of the blue, I mostly built it with stuff I already had, so, it's easy to build but I'm sure you can get something better done, this is the list: 4 lightning bolt 4 faithless looting 4 alms of the vein 4 fiery temper 4 gut shot 4 the flame of keld 4 bump in the night 4 bedlam reveler 4 nivmagus elemental 2 insult//injury 2 tormenting voice and 20 lands The deck basically needs 3 mana to run the entire deck, using the loot effects to get cheap bolts and dig into the deck, the Bedlam Revelers are for drawing and extra loots, and th Nivmagus is just a bonus to eat any volts that may get countered or something, the last 4 cards are kind of iffy, maybe adding 4 lava spike would work better, or replace them with collective brutality copies to get more discard and some hand disruption, also, with the 3rd activation of flame of keld, you get free lightning bolts with the gut shots, just saying, hope you like the deck! (I also have a demigod of revenge brew, in case anyone is interested.)
It does work like that afaik, but the thing is Death's Shadow is way too valuable a card to throw away just to get 2 counters on a Pelt Collector. You get way more mileage out of it by getting it down onto the field
Well it wouldn’t get 2 counters because it’s a 13/13 when it comes in but it’s a 0/0 when it dies, but I think it would be kind of a questionable play even it did give 2 counters since Deaths Shadow has so much value on its own.

What about something like Apostle's Blessing? Let's you go through blockers, protects your stuff and pumps up Shadow. Also something like TBR would work pretty well, I think.

you should add a way to scavenge creatures from your graveyard. puts death's shadow and vexing devil to a double usage. Varolz is da boi here, 1 mana for 13 counters seems good.
I agree, I'd probably prefer to tweak the previous version as Atarka's Command is really good in Zoo and maybe consider fitting in a couple of copies of Become Immense as a "gotcha" finisher.
