Yes, this is a good example why we should keep a keen eye and an open mind. Tiredness, work pressure and distractions could also force you down the rabbit hole and ultimately miss such an easy fix, resulting in wasted time and becoming more frustrated adding to the pressure. Yes I get this when the customer breaks off a USB stick in the port. Good and easy fix.
I didn't expect it to be the usb port. Usually you get a surge error when usb is shorting out.

Hi mine is bent from the inside and the blue chip that it was on was off until I popped it back in.. The USB port need to be replaced. How much would that be?

Hi, If the blue circular light of Power cable doesn't glow, and PC doesn't start.. Does it mean there is issue with Mother board?
I done my first new build, everything worked perfectly for 5-10 minutes, updated some windows updates, installed GeForce updates, restarted everything fine, then i updated my BIOS and now my AIO does not power on? No LEDS, No fans working, nothing at all, it’s like it’s dead? BIOS shows AIO N/A? I tried plugging this cable back in very tightly and still nothing? I cannot use the PC as the CPU temps go round 89 degrees in BIOS so i just turned it off, any advice? Also the bios menu states i have “Fan speed detection error” please check CPU cooler? Thanks.
My USB port is totally ruined and my desktop won’t cut on. Would I have to replace the USB port in it’s entirety? It’s not just a bent prong. It’s totally broken.

Would this happen also if the headphone jack looked like your USB port did? Theres a piece of metal pushed against the side and i looked in other headphone jacks, but those dang holes are too small for me brother, lemme know if have the time, I'd sure appreciate it.

I have a Dell Inspiron 2020 all-in-one....keyboard failure also mouse (other tech says keyboard and mouse are not being read...mouse lights up.Took it into a computer repair store and they say because its an all on one its not worth fixing. Any ideas...remember I have power to all usb and tried 2 other keyboard and mouse sets and still (keyboard failure) HELP!!
