Haymarket Riot was a band from my home town, Enid, Oklahoma c. 1968 consisting of band members Mark Van Schuyver, Gene Mooney, Dale Grauberger, Harry Cohlmia, Bob Williams, & Mike Mash. Only 1000 of these 45's were cut in Edmond, Oklahoma.
My dad is Mike Mash, the singer and co-writer of the song, thanks for posting. Got any more?
Janet Mash any idea around what year this was released?7
BRAVO!!
1968
Wonderful fuzzy guitars, beautiful raw sound! Those were the days... Beautiful golden days of rock! 🎶🎸
That’s the way I like my psych… fuzzy
Yeh Danny, that was a Vox Buckinham amp that had a built in fuzz effect via footswitch.Guitar used,Fender telecaster.
There was a band called The Haymarket Riot in Cincinnati in the 60’s . This sounds a bit “ heavier “ than them, though. 😎✌🏽☮️🎸
One of the very best single from 68, just fantastic, killer yeheee
Loving it in Northern California-2022
Mike Mash's voice reminds me of Mark Hollis (RiP) of Talk Talk.
