    *Some more facts*
    1. Contrary to what people believe, North-East India has no similarity at all, with China. Even though they speak Sino-Tibetan language, their culture is more Austronesian and Austroasiatic, than Chinese. Which means it's somewhat like Philippines and Malaysia, not China.
    2. Almost all North-Eastern hill tribes practised head hunting at some point. While tribes like Khasi practised it as a way to show manliness and adulthood, Naga practised it for sport.
    3. Assamese is an Indo-Aryan language(like Punjabi, Gujarati etc) and Assam is the least East Asian influenced among the 7 sister states.
    4. Rahul Dev Burman(R.D. Burman) was from Tripura
    5. Sikkim is not exactly north east. They have very different language and culture.
    6. The transition from East India to North East India is very subtle and gradual. It starts all the way from Eastern Bihar, through North Bengal and then into Assam and further east. The looks of people change very gradually, and if one just spends a day in those parts, it will feel just like India
    7. People there donot want to be part of China. They are happy and patriotic Indians. Every other house has an Indian flag hoisted on the terrace. Arunachalis actually fought PLA invasions in the 60s.
    8. Not just India, Bangladesh has also parts of North East. The Chakma Hill tribe of Chittagong Hills are Budhhist North Easterners.
    9. Eastern Bangladesh acts as the buffer between East Asia ans South Asia. Sundarbans is seen as the cultural boundary of South Asia
    10. Ahom Kingdom thwarted Mughal invasions 17 times! Lachit Borpukhan, a famous military commander is an iconic leader.

Officially Sikkim has been made a part of NE India
So even though the language & culture might be different, it's still considered a part of the NE
Geographical locations are the primary criteria for such categorization, not language & culture

    • @PaulAllen6304
      @PaulAllen6304 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

@@anantsharma6365 That was a forced induction. Sikkim is culturally similar to Bhutan, and to Ladakh to some extent. It's right, Sikkim is included in the north east for administrative reasons.

      @vishezar2137 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

@@PaulAllen6304 You both are partly correct. Sikkim is a mix of indigenous Sikkimese people Lepchas, Nepali, tibetan and Bhutanese people. 70% of Sikkim constitute of Nepali Origin people. All these different people have been living in that area for a long time, 800 years at least. Sikkim is made a part of NE just because of the similar looks to other NE states people and cannot be fit with rest of India. Whether 7 sisters considers Sikkim as a part of NE or not is whole different topic.

It's one of the major reasons for the disconnect. Also, any video that suggests "Aryan settlement" or "Aryan Invasion" automatically loses its credibility as it is a thing created by the westerners and has been debunked time and again.

Firstly there is no such thing called “mainland” India. Infact the language differences are common throughout India and not just against north east. Many from there come to the rest of India looking for education and jobs. We have many northeast Indians studying in the south. The reason for fewer
Flights to the region has more to do with the pilots having to have better skills to be able to fly planes there than the rest of the cities in India. Majority of state responsibilities in India fall on the state govt where they elect their own leaders. The state govt have huge responsibility of contributing to the revenue to make the stateS better. While north east is beautiful. The larger industries will not set up there as it’s not a feasible option for logistics etc.

In Hindu mythology, the Chinese are called 'dev-putras' (sons of gods). In one part, they are likened to the protectors of the riches of Lord Vishnu, the nurturer of the universe. Among various tribes, it is the woman, not man, who is considered the chief decision maker in homes. The North-East is also called the Land of Seven Sisters (because of the number of states). The tribes, their properties and their culture are protected under various laws. One of them is no outsider can buy land there. Considerable autonomy is granted to the tribes. After decades of low-level insurgency in some parts, for instance, Nagaland, the entire region has become integrated to India. This is clear from people's participation in various elections. Meghalaya, Mizoram and Nagaland are predominantly Christian, thanks to the free movement of Christian missionaries. The patriotism and loyalty of the North-East is beyond doubt as the tribal people are very conscious about the promises they make. Modern education and movement of people of North-East to various big cities have helped in their integration into mainstream India. They are simple, beautiful and ferocious in their enmity. They love music and arts and are known for their free and easy outlook. Regards

Next time if any Hitler born in west, and called himself Aryan, tell him, 'You aren't Aryan, You are Anglo Saxon, Aryan isn't a tribe, it is word used to respect like Buddhists use word 'Bhante '. Hindu Swastik and Nazi Hakkencross aren't same.
And most important, Earth is 3 dimensional, not 2 dimensional. Hindu temples where Varah Avatar of Lord Vishnu carrying 3 dimensional earth statues exist When Satellite wasn't available.
Galileo was killed for accepting Earth moves around sun. So, Hindu hatred we are watching from ancient western , middle east philosophy. And Aryan Dravid philosophy also created from this.
Propaganda can give you short term benefits, but it can't defeat truth.

Seems like this guy has no real knowledge about North East India😂
In all his 10 points he just blabbered about divisions..nothing about geography history etc of North East India.
Why you guys reacted to it?🤣🤣
It would be better to listen north east Indians from different states rather than this man.

Current government had and is doing many things in development and it was more of unawareness than discrimination. We were never taught about them but now they are beautiful part of our cities.
Also it is no close to Kashmir. Kashmir did genocide. But they have a lot of sense.

He is taking about the old days!!
Yes There are issues but not that much!!
Development is going on faster than ever, almost $15 Billion projects was implemented! Also they are actively taking part in national level politics and representing India in sports in international level, most of the football players coming from NE, first AIIMS built in Assam recently also national level hospitals and education institutes. Roads are coming with a lot of bridges and tunnels.
And there are not a few but 15 operational airports in NE!!
But definitely a lot more to improve and India is on it's way!!

This video was very bad. It did not give any facts. 9 out of 10 facts were there is discrimination against north east Indians. This could have conveyed in one or two points. They could have talked about the food, the culture, dances festivals and so much more. Looks like they did not do any research.

When Aryan word was used in Indian history, Indian civilization was at peak, and westerners were Anglo Saxons, so Aryan against Dravid theory is totally flop. Dravids came from Egyptian empire as they claims. Egyptian empire was also influenced from Bharat's culture. Yahudis were tribal slaves of Egyptian empire at that time.
Indian civilization is balance in between Tribalism and imperialism, Egyptian empire considered tribalism inferior which became reason of its end. Greek empire, Persian Empire same fate.Indian civilization survived because our intellectuals were smart and knew how to balance Tribalism and imperialism both.
e.g. Arya Chanakya was teacher of Chandragupta Maurya . Chandragupta Maurya was from fish catchers tribe.
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj brought intellectual brahmins and tribal fighters together to fight against Mohgul empire of Delhi.

Actually he simplified the problems with north east .. it’s not north east va India but even the tribes within north east have been warring factions for generations .. so each one wants their own territory .. they don’t want to come to table as a consortium and if they do they want dominance against one another… if u want more info can send you some great articles to view but it’s not simple to understand
