Guys, I live in New Jersey and same experience, pre construction they said one price and when we went there they bumped up the price by 25k .. anyways I dont know much abt Canada , but throughout this video I was hoping that you would go for the Kitchener home ... It has a more modern feel , I am sure a lot of young Desi folks will move into those homes and say 10 years down the line that Kitchener place will give you more appreciation for your money ...

Barrie has been in a upward market in the last few years. Is there a possibility that you could post videos about more locations that could see this upward trend in the coming years?
Happy for you both..beautiful location and great video on both houses. Somehow I felt Cambridge area looked really beautiful and upscale than the Kitchener one. Felt more peaceful there and looked like French colonial style buildings. Price even if it's slightly high for basic features, if u guys can stretch it or upgrade it as and when you can that house can be a great choice. But again it's just my opinion. yes Traveling Desi is abusing Tourist visa( he is still in Canada on Tourist visa from 9 months ) that's why the middle class in Indian do not get Tourist visa of Canada because tourist like him do not go back.

Hi guys you made best choice for kw region it’s one of the best region to live in. I would recommend looking for houses near boardwalk, sunrise centre , and Waterloo . Doon south is no doubt developing but then it’s a end of the city so if you wanna explore to stay in the mid of the city that will connect you easily to Waterloo and Kitchener downtown

The area you are showing in kitchener is not Doon south but Huron park. The homes here are mix of new and old. Its not all 5 yr old. Some are still under construction while some are 12-15 year old as well.
The Kitchener location is any-day a good option, mainly because of the college, schools and the plaza's nearby. Trust me I've been living here from the past couple of years.
Navjot if u keep putting such videos, I wud be living in Canada while still being in Mumbai 😂😂. I so love to look for houses. Very well captured. I think it is good to buy townhouse house of Huron creek development but at least 1600 square feet. The cost involved in finishing basement and fully upgrading will not exceed 50k if you can hire a good contractor and do it after closing.

In this case do we need LMIA letter as this a transfer and not a fresh new job? Q2. Will his NOC code change from 2171 to NOC 00.? Q3. Will this add additional 200 points to our CRS Score? Because of maths :) For 600K condo, you pay $600 condo fees + $1000 per month in interest of mortgage + $300 per month on property insurance Thats $1900 / month thats not towards principal of the condo... and my rent today is $1900 and I dont have to care about any maintainence or increasing condo fees.

Maybe the crux of my question was overshadowed by the condo aspect - what i wanted to check is if you did consider the prospect of investing in a ready to move (older) property which would have taken care of (or part of) your rent today and for the next 2 years. This way a good portion of your rent could have gone into your equity as well as potentially appreciating with time. It is just another option i understand - specifically asking as we are thinking on these lines and trying to understand if glaring missing something obvious.
