I'd like to add on me it doesn't prevent lows and does not treat highs enough.
do i need to bolus carbs everytime i eat some time i eat
Hi, Carlen, we recommend you speak with your healthcare provider for the best way to manage your diabetes.
How can you tell if transmitter is fully charged? 2 hr or it stops flashing or ?
When charging is complete, the green light on the charger will stay on, without flashing, for 15 to 20 seconds and then turn off.
the system is not aggressive enough. Even if you calculate the correct bolus, over time the bgs rise and the system does not respond fast enough. I'm speaking like 2 to 3 hours later. Curious on tips here. And no - no issues with delayed gastro.. Any ideas or tips medtronic?
Hi, Michael. Our Technical Support team would be best able to assist and troubleshoot this with you. Please give them a call at 1-800-646-4633, option #1. Thank you.
She didn't explain if green light continues to flash if transmitter is FULLY charged? She only states how to charge it. 2 hours or 3 times after receiving & inserting? His long do I jet it flash before I can start adapting it to my body? 🤔 Ill continue reading searching. 😢

Smart Guard always suspends my basal for 40-60 min after a food bolus. This always leads to my blood sigar hitting around 300, which smart guard always fails to bring down. After 4-5 hours, i have to go back to manual mode to correct.
My insulin to catb ratio works perfectly in manual mode, on shots, or on another pump.
My rep and endo do not know how to fix this. Its very frustrating.
Hi, Brandi. We're very sorry to hear about this. Have you had a chance to talk to our Technical Support team about what you're experiencing? If not, please give them a call at 1-800-646-4633, option #1. Thank you.
@@MedtronicDiabetesUSthis happens to me too and others I’ve spoken to on this close loop system. Why can’t y’all just explain or provide solutions through the comment section instead of redirecting to someone else?
Hi, Alexandria. Several factors can influence how the SmartGuard feature works: SmartGuard auto basal target, active insulin time (AIT), and insulin to carbohydrate (ICR). Since these are prescribed by your healthcare provider, we'd recommend speaking to them for more guidance.
@@alexandriacantu111 Ive gotten to where I only food bolus in manual mode because I can control my sugars so much better than smart guard can

Or, if you are like me, give a meal bolus and then the MiniMed corrects TOO, and ends up with lows.
Hi, Charlene. We're sorry to hear that you are experiencing lows! We would recommend that you speak to your healthcare provider to see if any adjustments can be made to help offset this. Please let us know if you need anything else. Thank you!
